Omg I just realized a big difference between both of their characters. During the race, when D fell off, Orion pulled him up. But during the execution, D let Orion go. Such a sad but cool detail in the movie

@@KarmaVein I wouldn’t be surprised even if everyone else is happy it’s a constant reminder to Orion/Optimus of what he’s sacrificed to get where he is now, not only that the war will pretty much permanently destroy any chances they may have of had of rekindling their friendship not to mention the heavy casualties both sides will suffer during the war that Megatron holds Optimus personally responsible for those deaths.

It starts out with Orion wanting to cause disrruption and chaos for fun and freedom, but then as D-16 slowly gives in to his anger Orion starts to take on responsibility and begins to live by the rules. Hence why he is still the one "on the wire" at the end. Love that detail so much :D

Orion caught him again during the attack on the High Guard’s base. Both times he didn’t hesitate to pull D-16 up, but D-16 did before dropping Orion
