You could have shown Penny Singleton in the "Blondie" series. Howard McNear not only played "Doc" on the radio version of "Gunsmoke" but also was "Floyd The Barber" on the "Andy Griffith Show" as well.

Here's some trivia; in the last segment, "The Golden Key" one of the actors is Joe E.Brown the famous vaudevillian and movie actor. You'll remember his line from "Some Like It Hot" (Well, nobody's perfect). His son, Joe L. Brown was an executive with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He discovered and signed eventual Hall of Famer Willie Stargell
How 'bout Joe Besser? The voice of Baboo in the Jeanie, the voice of Cupid in the Smerfs' Valentine's Day special and, for "live-action" "Stinky" on the Abbott & Costello Show and, of course, his stint in the Three Stooges!
Howard McNair had a stroke during the course of the Andy Griffith show, so after he had it you would see him sitting down most of the time or they had this special chair that made him look like he was standing up. The last season of Andy's show, the barbershop was gone and the fix it shop took place.
Cool videos. just out of curiosity, did you get your youtube nickname from war of the worlds radio show? I remember the musical interludes towards the beginning of the broadcast were alleged to have been by "Raymond Raquello and his Orchestra".
