I want to just take the time to thank you! I bought the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream right after I watched some of your skincare videos and my eczema flare up is gone. You’ve really taught me that natural isn’t always good and some chemicals are fine. Thanks, again!
I started watching Hyram like a few days ago and started actually taking care of my skin and even my mom said it looks great, Hyram you’re honestly so helpful thank you!
I use their sensitive skin care line, and let me tell you. It’s the only thing that has been able to control my hormonal acne. So to know that you think their products are good (for the most part) helps a lot!
I’m officially obsessed with Hyram. Im rewatching his videos during quarantine. And even if I don’t feel like watching skincare, his positive energy makes me so happy. My skin has improved by buying his recommendations, but it’s his energy that I LOVE. I got my friends hooked too! ❤️ with all of us learning the truth about skincare, I’m hoping brands will start focusing on their ingredients rather than aesthetic. Thank you Hyram!
Blossom Corvus it might not visibly hurt ur skin after use, but the long term effects can be damaging from their ingredients, and you’ll see the damage later on.
I’ll never forget the shampoo broke off my hair. When I called customer service the rep was very condescending and told me it’s all natural so I must be lying. I just stopped buying.
can you make like a skincare ingredients pros and cons list that explains what each indegredient does and if its good for your skin or not that we can use as a guide when buying skincare products? it would be soooo helpful xx
check out skincarisma, they have a giant database of skin care and make up products and they break down the ingredient list in a very simple way :-) i use it all the time
kate alexis my experience has been iffy. Somedays it seems to work but it didn’t do anything life changing because I still have the same issues. I just changed my cleanser too because it wasn’t doing anything for me so I’m doing one he recommended in one of his vids to see if it helps.
Taylour Steeves Yeah I went to see a dermatologist and they gave me multiple things and nothing worked then I tried Honey and that actually did something for me. I'm not saying mediation doesn't work but for some people it doesn't. If someone's having skin issues they should definitely see a dermatologist if they can.
its not good, there are many dermatologists on here that reviewed them. they dont really do much but they're not horrible for your skin. just not really beneficial in any way. the dermatologist did say that you can use them as a foot exfoliator/scrub tho
you should talk to your doctor about that. Like, I have eczema too and I went to my doctor and gave me a tube of “dovobet” and it works wayyy better than anything you could get from a drugstore.
@@jillianprociuk4712 Yeah but everyone's different. I've tried a few doctor prescribed creams that barely helped or helped equal to just putting on oil or lotion
I have eczema on the back of my scalp and eye lids so I’m unable to use most products as there’s creams which obviously I can’t rub into my hair or eye safe 😕 I’d love some suggestions.
slidesandspoons it feels so good! But it’s one of the worse! It actually dries your lips more, so you have to use more! The baseline lip balm believe it or not, is one of the best moisturizing inexpensive lip balms🤪
I would be really interested in a review of the brand Clean and Clear, I know it's really popular among teens with acne problems: I used to use it and one of my friends with chronic acne uses it; so I'd be interested to know what you think of it.
It's mostly trash. The cleansers strip the skin and only one of the salicylic acid treatments has the right pH for it to be effective. It's the "advantage spot treatment" and the fact that it's a spot treatment means it's not proactively preventing acne which is the whole entire point of salicylic acid. Go with stridex if you want an effective pH at a low price point. The only product I recommend is persa-gel 10, which has bad instructions on the package. 10% benzoyl peroxide should only be used as a spot treatment to avoid irritation. A lower 2-5% is better for preventative use.
Cocoa and Consternation have you ever tried differen as a spot treatment? It used to be a prescription and now it is over the counter. They also sell a cleanser, toner and moisturizer...but it can be hard to find. I have seen it at wal mart tho. It is not cheap like clean and clear, but it is also not junk! If you are looking for something for hormonal, teen breakouts, you might want to give it a try.
THANK YOU for talking about their lip balm!!!! I never knew this and consistently used the pomegranate flavor so I feel much more educated now. I'd love to hear more about your lip balm preferences too!
Hi, a couple of months ago I was given a bunch of products by a brand called Say Yes to Tomatoes. Can you review these? Or do you have a video about them already?
anthony A, Actually, it matters because Burt’s Bees has always advertised their products as “ethically sourced” and supports beekeepers. Thus, when their brand is no longer operated by beekeepers, where are they getting their honey and beeswax from? Exactly, nobody knows. For all we know, they could be sourcing their ingredients from places/countries with child labour. As consumers, people generally don’t want to be supporting child labour or unfair labour in third-world countries. Plus, the beekeeping tradition/business in the US, I think, has been declining; and it is important to support local beekeepers especially because a lot of people value local businesses. That’s why I think it matters and probably why Darci mentioned it.
@@canadianmaple4227 bee wax isn't even an active ingredient so it doesn't matter if it's not in there and second of all I don't care what happens in 3rd world countries and I don't care about supporting small businesses. Further more why does it matter if the tradition if bee keeping is lost it doesn't apply to me.
anthony A, Ok good for you, but you didn’t have to be rude and sarcastic with “Ok and?” Beekeeping is pretty important in addition to just bees themselves. They are important for trees, grass, flowers, plants to grow unless y’all wanna live staring at concrete your whole life. You’re ignorant for not caring about the rest of the world when it really does affect you. Hyram’s entire channel emphasizes on helping marine life and the ocean, nature etc. so it’s surprising that you’re even here if you don’t care about the world lmao. People have different values ig. 😬 Hope you figure it out someday.
apparently NYX has a lot of clean ingredients and so does maybelline fit me powder. i use nyx total control drop foundation, elf concealer, and maybelline fit me powder. my skin doesn’t break out as much now that i’ve been using these products for awhile. and my skincare routine is literally only like 3 steps too
YAY! I was so scared you weren’t going to like the foaming cleanser because it works SO WELL for me, but this just made my day! I used to get acne cysts a lot, but ever since I started using that I haven’t gotten A SINGLE ONE
I worked for Burt’s Bees for 2 years and they treat their employees like the garbage that they claim doesn’t get sent to land fills. I do like the sensitive lotion and still have several bottles of it in my cabinet but I personally prefer the lip glosses over the lip balms any day.

Lily Bui St Ives just got shit because their apricot scrub which was pretty popular had walnut shells. Apparently this causes microabrasians. But their other products seem just fine to me
i literally love this guy so much , especially after seeing his livestream he’s so grateful and i LOVE when people are just normal and sweet🥺 he also introduced me to Paulas choice BHA liquid and I’m in love
I love Shea moisture! I use their face wash, lip balm, and some hair products. I make my own whipped body butter using their 100% Shea butter (melt with almond oil 3:1, freeze until toothpaste consistency, whip with a mixer) and it's the most moisturizing thing I have ever used
Dido’s Tempest Yes! I used to love their African Black Soap mask, that thing was like a miracle in a jar... And then they had to go change the recipe and now it burns and causes more issues instead of helping the skin 😠 Ever since they got bought out by Unilever the quality of their products have been going down.
I have combination skin and I’ve always struggled with cleansers and moisturizers. Even oil free formulas are terrible. I’ve been using the Burts bees cleansing renewal scrub with a “retinol alternative.” I was really iffy about it at first, but I got it for Christmas so I decided I’d try it. It’s really wonderful. It’s creamy and soft. If it didn’t say it was a scrub I would never guess. It’s soft and light and doesn’t break me out. After I use it my skin isn’t super dried out and it always feels soft and looks soft.
I'm curious about your thoughts on "natural" brands being owned by less natural parent companies. Burt's Bees is owned by parent company Clorox, so I wonder how that factors in to their brand ethics/use of certain ingredients. Does being owned by a less "natural" company make them less reputable in the "natural" skincare field? Would love to hear more about the role parent companies play!
jisification I guess it really doesn’t. Anyone can slap on the word natural onto a product tbh. If I’m not mistaken the use of the word “natural” on beauty products isn’t even regulated by the FDA. I still think it’s pretty outlandish, though, that a company like Clorox owns a so called “natural” beauty line
jisification it’s a marketing strategy. Once people realized their skin care products included any type of synthetic ingredients or chemicals that they don’t know and “natural” (i.e. African Black Soap, Shea butter as a moisturizer ) products worked on people (and are significantly cheaper), more people wanted to see ingredients they were familiar with. But like the previous commenter mentioned, the concept of natural is sketchy within the beauty community because there aren’t any regulations in regards what is considered natural.
The deep cleansing cream was the first cleanser I used and saved my teen acne lol. It was very refreshing to use. It stopped working after three years of use though. Now I use PanOxyl but I wouldn’t mind switching back.

Can we just take a moment of appreciation for how perfect hyram’s undereyes are.
YES!
He looks stunning!
Omg i keep thinking exactly the same!!
I wish he would give us some good product recommendations for the undereye area -I have horrible dark circles.

HAHA omg ❤️❤️
I started watching Hyram like a few days ago and started actually taking care of my skin and even my mom said it looks great, Hyram you’re honestly so helpful thank you!
That makes me so happy to hear!! Thank you! 😍

Hi jesus!
You should do “the truth about clean and clear”
Clare Posey I’m waiting on it.
Yes
Clean and clear is trash lol no need for a video.
rocksta201012 I would be curious to see his thoughts though, some skin care people like them and some don’t I want to see where is stands
And Biore!
You got your friends to watch my videos?? 😭 That is so sweet! Thank you so much! ❤️
Isn’t everyone obsessed with Hyram 🥺❤️
Hyram haha yes I did! we had a conversation about our skin struggles so of course I’d tell them to watch you!
Same!
*Please do one for “Yes to”*
Yes to Carrots
Yes to Tomatoes
Etc.
Stripes4545 there are a lot of people that have serious reactions to some of these products. It’s not across the board. Just be careful💜
Lol thanks for stealing my comment
Sarah The Gemini I’m a Gemini too!:)❤️
i tried the yes to tomato’s charcoal paper mask and my face was so red and was burning and wouldn’t go away
Tbh I thought their products were really weak when I tried them.
Me: has like all the burts bee things
Also me: throws everything away
My Weekly Jizz plz recycle
Unless it breaks you out or is really not good for you, no need to waste....
Blossom Corvus it might not visibly hurt ur skin after use, but the long term effects can be damaging from their ingredients, and you’ll see the damage later on.
Same hahaha
Please recycle save the world 🌍 ❤️
We need Chloe Ting, Hyram, simply nailogical, James Charles, and Brad Mondo to do a glow up show!

Yes yes yes . Lol this brand
I’ll never forget the shampoo broke off my hair. When I called customer service the rep was very condescending and told me it’s all natural so I must be lying. I just stopped buying.
No one:
Hyram: What's it called again? A *food market*?
Hyram: No wait...
Hyram: A *farmer's market*
yessss lol
Waiting for "the truth about Avéne"
I'm actually very curious
Yesss I’ve been curious about their stuff too
Pleaseeeee do a “the truth about bliss”
me: *literally just bought the burts bees gel cleanser, is worried
Hyram: i'd buy the gel cleanser, its alright!
me: *sigh of relief*
Eleanore Pavelle omg same😭
Yooooo sammmeee
Same. It’s literally the only face wash that hasn’t dried out my skin to the bone.
can you make like a skincare ingredients pros and cons list that explains what each indegredient does and if its good for your skin or not that we can use as a guide when buying skincare products? it would be soooo helpful xx
check out skincarisma, they have a giant database of skin care and make up products and they break down the ingredient list in a very simple way :-) i use it all the time
I neeeeeeeeeed this!!!
Him: talks about the acne solution
Me: oh good it's not the roller stick that I use daily
Him: THE ROLLER STICK IS EVEN WORSE
Me: .......
kate alexis my experience has been iffy. Somedays it seems to work but it didn’t do anything life changing because I still have the same issues. I just changed my cleanser too because it wasn’t doing anything for me so I’m doing one he recommended in one of his vids to see if it helps.
Try plain honey! Apply it like a mask for 20 minutes everyday it works! I've had acne for 7 years now and it's the only thing that works for me.
Sometimes you need medicated stuff. After spending hundreds on stuff that barely did it I ended up caving and got medicine
Taylour Steeves I use curology along with my wash and moisturizer
i use to have my whole skincare routine burts bees but now its cetaphil, the ordinary, that nizoral shampoo, and micellar cleansing water😎
About to watch this, bracing myself. My whole skin care routine is Burts Bees.

I legit get a rash from most of their face masks :(
Same! I honestly refuse to look at the back of my favorite Freeman clay mask because I don’t want to give it up but I know I probably should😂
its not good, there are many dermatologists on here that reviewed them. they dont really do much but they're not horrible for your skin. just not really beneficial in any way. the dermatologist did say that you can use them as a foot exfoliator/scrub tho
HEY HYRAM!!!
Maybe an idea for the future is “eczema info” episode!
Like for my *ECZEMA BROS*
Yes.
My eczema bros got me 😂
#eczemaclub
you should talk to your doctor about that.
I have eczema on the back of my scalp and eye lids so I’m unable to use most products as there’s creams which obviously I can’t rub into my hair or eye safe 😕
I’d love some suggestions.
Ok Hyram should just make his own skincare line so we know that we can buy all that stuff without worrying
I second this!
I third this!!
I forth thissss
good news! he revealed his first ever product and i’m so excited 😭😭😭
Hyram: avoid medicated chapsticks
Me: but the tingle 😢🥺
Rae17 KRB i love their tingle 🥺🥺
the blistex one (i think??) it feels so good lol
slidesandspoons yes
slidesandspoons it feels so good! But it’s one of the worse! It actually dries your lips more, so you have to use more! The baseline lip balm believe it or not, is one of the best moisturizing inexpensive lip balms🤪
J Zg It’s the best. I love the Christmas themed candycane chapsticks the best
Cocoa and Consternation my dermatologist recommended their benzoyl peroxide face wash for my acne but idk about anything else
I just use the blue toner. Hate the washes and hate the moisturiser. I only use that toner if I get pimples.
Can you do a video on lips care: lip balms, lip scrubs, and overnight lip treatments?
@JenLuvsReviews does a whole video beaking down lip balms and the ingredients and which ones are the best, and work the best.
@@NewNew51982 I watched and bought some from her recommendations but his input would still be very interesting

Hi, a couple of months ago I was given a bunch of products by a brand called Say Yes to Tomatoes. Can you review these? Or do you have a video about them already?
"Ingredients don't lie"
I've been waiting my whole life for someone to say that.
Burts bees is no longer owned/operated by beekeepers
Ok and? It doesn't matter.
anthony A,
Actually, it matters because Burt’s Bees has always advertised their products as “ethically sourced” and supports beekeepers.
Further more why does it matter if the tradition if bee keeping is lost it doesn't apply to me.
anthony A,
Ok good for you, but you didn’t have to be rude and sarcastic with “Ok and?” Beekeeping is pretty important in addition to just bees themselves. 😬 Hope you figure it out someday.
anthony A I don’t care about your elbow
Could you review “clean” makeup at Sephora ? Or just makeup that’s less likely to break you out ?
Victoria Poldi i need that video too. Like the best foundations or concealers. This is a must
Yes please 💪🏼
apparently NYX has a lot of clean ingredients and so does maybelline fit me powder. i use nyx total control drop foundation, elf concealer, and maybelline fit me powder. my skin doesn’t break out as much now that i’ve been using these products for awhile. and my skincare routine is literally only like 3 steps too

I’d love to hear your opinions on Shea moisture!
I love Shea moisture! I use their face wash, lip balm, and some hair products. I make my own whipped body butter using their 100% Shea butter (melt with almond oil 3:1, freeze until toothpaste consistency, whip with a mixer) and it's the most moisturizing thing I have ever used
Same!
Their clay masks use to be so good...
There formulas have gone to shit. About 4 years ago they were my favorite 😭
After I use it my skin isn’t super dried out and it always feels soft and looks soft.
i NEED “the truth about carbon theory” BC I USE IT EVERY DAY AND IDK IF ITS GOOD OR NOT. I THJNK IT IS BUT I NEED THE HYRAM STAMP OF APPROVAL

Well just check for fragrance and if it's got harmful chemicals and if it's turning your skin red or irritating it
If it works for you then it’s good for you
Destinee Turner true but not necessarily some products can cause problems or premature aging long term
I would love to hear his thoughts too! Not many people realize they were bought out by Clorox. I personally believe this definitely has an effect
why does it matter if its "natural"
jisification I guess it really doesn’t. Anyone can slap on the word natural onto a product tbh. If I’m not mistaken the use of the word “natural” on beauty products isn’t even regulated by the FDA. I still think it’s pretty outlandish, though, that a company like Clorox owns a so called “natural” beauty line
@@alinaisabella7879 oh ok, ty
jisification it’s a marketing strategy. Once people realized their skin care products included any type of synthetic ingredients or chemicals that they don’t know and “natural” (i.e. African Black Soap, Shea butter as a moisturizer ) products worked on people (and are significantly cheaper), more people wanted to see ingredients they were familiar with. But like the previous commenter mentioned, the concept of natural is sketchy within the beauty community because there aren’t any regulations in regards what is considered natural.
i love how your hair matches your eyes it's like perfect...

The deep cleansing cream was the first cleanser I used and saved my teen acne lol. It was very refreshing to use. It stopped working after three years of use though. Now I use PanOxyl but I wouldn’t mind switching back.
