I have only played scum solo offline except for a little bit (when the game was first out) on a friend's server that only 4 of us had access to.
I'd really like to be able to play on a server like this to learn the game more because it's honestly been years since I played and I really want to get into it again.
How can I find this server, please?
I tend to go 2.5 Str and End, 2 Dex, and 5 Int. Works for me.

I should probably try a lockpicking build for a change. I dont know why but i never have any real reason to need it for medium/advanced locks since stuff with such locks is rarely a priority to me and all the stuff i do lockpick or have any interest in lockpicking for loot usually gets opened first try with no skill.
I think im a masochist.
I also rather destroy something than pick a lock even though im pretty good at it. I just don't like being vulnerable and lockpicking is like pooping to me.

Does endurance not affect how much damage you take anymore? Its been a while i use to do a 40 yr old (+1.5 con) with a small dong (cause that use to boost your int) 3 str 4.5 con 3 dex 5 int
Advanced melee, max endurance then running (used to make you more tanky) max stealth and max awareness and camouflage and you pretty much had the meta build
No a lot has changed. Constitution makes you tougher now
Dude… can’t tell you how much I appreciate these… dunno if I’m getting old and just less intelligent or what… or maybe I’m just used to games holding my hand these days… but this game is super difficult. Nothing seems really intuitive. Neither my dad nor myself could join a public server so we could play together. So I then tried to just play single player after he gave up… after trying to play single player.. I feel like giving up… like… we just bought the game and are having nothing but problems in the first 30 mins. Which sucks because I want to really like it
It takes time but you will get there
Look up that specific issue online, im sure i've seen a fix for it somewhere. You guys gotta play together!
Also, the learning curve is steep, just accept you will die in the beginning and you'll get it. But always be prepared to accept a death on the character.

Dex lvl up very fast, then str and most slowly constitution.
U can lvl up intelect from 1 to 5 wsth memory modul but its take some time.
So best way to start is 3.5 4.5 3.0 1.0
Or 3.0 4.0 2.0 3.0
Dex faster, intelligence is subjective, strength and constitution have been fixed and no longer bounce between gain/lose during activities that raise such. Constitution and strength are both also subjective, depending on what you're doing. Both can be focused differently and optimally. Arguably, just basic standard gameplay would prove constitution is the slowest. Without 3.0 in stats, you cannot have advanced in skills. I would never recommend starting out with less, but it is possible. Low Dex early is cancer without a vehicle or means of transportation in the early game, but the benefit in the late mid-late stages of a characters life is very beneficial.
My point is though, understanding the pros and cons of your build is most important. I'm in the same boat as Luthais with how to build, 3/3/3/3/ with adv brawl or melee, adv run, adv lockpicking, demo skill stealth or medium/medium, advanced medical. My argument to lockpicking, demolition, or stealth depends on your goal and play style along with brawling or melee. I prefer stealth/brawl personally for the sole reason of being quiet for PvP/PvE which just makes everything easily manageable if you get in over your head by being too aggressive and having the ability to kill someone who kills you in PvP as soon as you land to get your gear back/clear puppets quietly when you run out of ammo/arrows, any puppet.

Let me remind you once again that the indicators will always change depending on the server settings.
On the official server, where skill leveling is slow, where time of day and body simulation are not changed, players usually leave skills balanced, i.e. 3 3 3 3, it is the indicator of 3 units that allows you to get an advanced level in the relevant professions.
My message above was directed specifically at those who want to more or less simultaneously pump strength, constitution, dexterity and intelligence to the maximum.
Let me remind you again, dexterity is the fastest, followed by strength, then constitution.
The scheme of pumping speed after a certain period of time on my character is something like this:
+0.5-0.6 Dex
+0.2 Str
+0.1 Con
