I think I watched it in some clips before that Fumi explained why despite Nijisanji is very coed (male x female interactions) the male members are still mostly playing with other male vtubers/streamers, and they are rather careful of their interactions with female vtubers/streamers because they are afraid to get flamed and accused of sexual harrasements (Japan is a country where there are big numbers of sexual harassement cases towards women), and based on other clips there's a probabilty that Ex Albio is rather a younger guy/Gen Z so he might be respecting Towa as she's probably older (and more senior?) than him
