  • Leather AND Walnut! Combination of my two favorite materials all wrapped up in a new every-day-carry handbag.
    This project can easily be accommodated to basic woodworking and leather working tools which makes it a great beginner project.
    The walnut wood is from a downed tree on the family farm that we cut up last fall. It’s a great feeling to be able to incorporate parts of the farm in my every day life even though I live hours away.
    The leather, hardware and most of the leather work tools for this project were purchased from Springfield Leather Company in Springfield, Missouri. They have a wide selection of leatherworking goods as well as great customer support. Find them online at www.springfieldleather.com

      Cool that you do leather work too. I suppose you'll be taking up forging next?

    Beautiful bag. Is it a special screw that you used to attach the strap tabs to the wood piece?

    • @TwistedTwineWoodworking
      @TwistedTwineWoodworking  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Button head screws from Lowe’s was what I used. Nothing special…button head held it all together from the top and the color was what I thought looked good.
