Nice variety. I am another (very new) Mangatuber with Hinamatsuri but I haven't read it yet...a friend recommended it to me and the concept sounded irresistible. I will say Rose of Versailles is basically a 2-in-1 so that helps me swallow the price a little more since they are VERY luxe. I've been waiting 25 years for that series to be translated since I first got teased with it reading Frederick Schodt's Manga! Manga!

When I hauled Kitaro someone commented and told me it’s basically a collection of short stories, so the books can be read in any order. I’ll probably just end up reading them in the order they were published, whenever I get to them. Great haul!

I doubt you show EVERY manga you ever buy... I'm kinda curious about your monthly spending on manga. I spend maybe 30-40 euros a month. I would spend more but I'm a 19yr old uni student. Should be self explanatory
Yes its very self explanatory since I used to be a teenager who wanted manga but could not buy tons! I do have manga that I buy used etc that sometimes I dont show or maybe show later.

Kekkaishi is awesome one of my favorite shounen manga. It has action and yokai/Japanese spirits. It's similar to Shaman King, Nurarihyon no Mago, Jujutsu Kaisen, Natsume's book of friends etc.

Great manga haul as always bud, cool not only hinamatsuri but land of lustrous as well, man heavy hitters. Hope u enjoy Kekkaishi, the anime was good, but some of the volumes are severely out of print ( I can’t find vol 14 ). Try the first and see if it’s to your liking

I ended up bingeing the entire 10 available volumes by accident when I was trying to save it... 😭 The entire journey will keep you guessing. Vol 11 comes out at the end of August.
You can read to the current chapter 95 online. Vol 10 only covers through chapter 79. 😶

Hinamatsuri is sooo funny~ Gosh, im watching the anime and every episodes are just good. Ouhhh Dai Dark?! Heard a friend talk about it. Im intrigued. And uhhhhh i wanna read Blue Flag so bad. Needed to finish my goal for collecting Fruits Basket first, then im going straightaway to getting Blue Flag and Yona of The Dawn~

Kekaishi is great definitely a great series there's only 3 omnis and the rest are in singles only.

And speaking of Satan, do you know what it is called in Spain "O-Parts Hunter". It's named "666 SATAN", same title as in Japan 😂 I suppose that due to cultural differences in the United States the original title could be controversial 😂

Oh, Kitaro is one of my favourite mangas... I recommend you go in the future to Sakaiminato, in Tottori, Japan. You will be able to see the city where all those yokai live. There are statues of all! 😍

Not me buying 7 manga this month and not knowing it was no manga may 😪🥲. Yes living room Matsunaga- San is understandable ( I’m like 13 ) so I love that stuff, if your wife did not like the 1st volume maybe not get more but let her try vol 2 to make sure. 👍 ALSO I LOVED SHORTCAKE CAKE! Could you maybe do a recommendation manga video where it’s only your wife’s manga recommendation 😁 ( because honestly she has read so many good Shoujo/romance manga! )
She did not super hate it or anything it just seemed middle of the road first volume so maybe a second try would be okay. Also Great Idea on the recommendation video!

I don’t know if you know about this, but there is a “recent” (2011 I think) Gundam Wing manga. It’s a 14 volume retelling of the Wing anime. I read the first 2 volumes and it is great so far. It’s called, Gundam Wing Endless Waltz: Glory of the Losers.

If the problem your wife has with Living-room Matsunaga-san is the age gap itself, I probably wouldn't continue. It's personally a 5 star manga for me, but it definitely isn't for everyone.👍😊 I don't mean to plug my own content, but I do have a non-spoiler review of volumes 1-5 on my channel if she wanted a bit more information without buying more volumes. 😄
Wow! Those Rose of Versailles volumes are STUNNING 🤯 Land of the Lustrous looks really cool and I'm definitely going to look into it more! Awesome haul, I added a bunch of titles to my wishlist! 🤩
Well I think the gap is not the big problem (not that stuff like that is not wrong) Its just most have it in them here or there so she does read many with it. I think its the way they handled situations like getting locked in a bathroom (if you can even call it that no sink , window, etc lol ) The way they jammed the situations together seemed not good. Now she has read so much that it just is not as good as others in her mind. She did not hate it but it was just 6 out of tenish nothing special but nothing terrible.
I have heard others comment and say they did not like it much till after vol 3 etc. So maybe ill get her a few more and then she can fully decide. I will mention your review of it and she can check it out!
ROV hardcovers are insane how nice they look. They def gave one of the founding queens of shojo great editions! Land of Lustrous is wonderful and it took me 4 vol to fall into the hole of being a fan for life I am sure you will like it. It is VERY different which is good!

In regards to the bathroom, I don't know if they have these in the states, but we have them in Canada. Sometimes your sink and shower/bath is in a separate room then the toilet. That way, while someone is using the toilet, other people can still access the bathroom to brush their teeth or wash their hands. (: And those room are literally just a toilet, nothing else in the room haha 😂
@@mymangaspace Yeah Its just a weird toilet closet off the bath. But it was just the sitting on his lap and using the toilet etc that was just pushing the situation so hard lol.
Just was not the best first volume but there have been series that started worse and ended up great so we will see!

Kekkaishi is one of my first and favourite series of all time.If I have to be spoilerless ın story we have two family/clan which are fighting for the spirits.They are using a kind of magic but a little different.This clans current heirs are a young boy and young girl.The families are fighting each others but this heirs usually get along with well.This spirits are appearing ın their school backyard and they are the only one can see and fight them ın the nights.

Well I try to sell and if it does not sell even after lower price for months then I give it away if its a cool series on my channel or I just wait longer and try selling again.

I meant a series in print where every volume is 25 bucks. Its expensive and not for everyone. On my side I buy rare and OOP manga so I spend lots more haha. Also im sure not every volume you buy is 100 bucks so if you were collecting a regular in print series and every volume was 30 bucks or something it would feel expensive is what I meant.
