Hello, QUAD33 has a problem with the balance volume, and after several years of use, it becomes distorted due to a structural problem. Even if you clean it, it will repeat itself after several years. It is effective to replace the balance volume with two resistors.

If you want to prevent this from happening again, replace the 1kΩ balance volume with two 510Ω fixed resistors.
Pretty good vintage equipment there, except for the vinyl scratchy sound. Do not focus on the technicalities. Delight on the musical performance. One of the best Art Pepper's best period.
Her speakers are positioned just fine. She has at least the minimum space from the corners that you're supposed to have. Where is she supposed to put them, out in the middle of the room?
