- In this system test I show off a rare pull station in my collection, as well as the rest of the devices I have installed for this test. And I change the coding on one of the systems, as well as having trouble activated a smoke detector! Thanks for watching!

I dare you for your next system test to interconnect both systems and activate EVERY SINGLE ACTIVATION DEVICE ON BOTH SYSTEMS.
Systems 1's horn strobe on it's Hi - Lo tone sounds exactly like a UK railroad crossing lol well one crossings bell I've heard on a vid
Awesome. I am very happy to tell you that I finally got emergency lights set up in my room. It was very easy to wire and they work awesome. I just have yet to make a video on it
I love that Notifier LNG1W there really rare and one of the only while pull stations except for the white RMS-1P and the T model 1T by RSG

Had a fire alarm activated in our office building since a microwave popped off in another floor. Yet the alarm sounded also in our floor. First time hearing and seeing a horn strobe in action, and now i've been watching fire alarm systems and fascinated by it
Pretty cool! In most cases, regardless of the floor where the alarm activated the entire building’s alarms will sound.

Thanks! Yeah it definitely is a unique hobby. If you are interested in this, watching a lot of videos from enthusiasts in this community can help get your interest started and it allows you to grasp a basic understanding.
@@ExitSign250 I remember watching videos like these when I was a kid. I'm 23 now and I got back into this, and super interested. Hopefully I can build up and start my own channel for fire alarms, that'd be awesome lol. Maybe even get into the field and start off as an apprentice. Thanks for the reply man! Love the vids.

I tried testing my household smoke detector using a smoky candle.
First I lit the candle, let it burn for a few seconds, then put the lid on, which killed the flame and generated a ton of smoke. I then held it up to the detector and let the smoke out, but the detector didn't react.

More than likely not. Unless I get something nice in a future, I don’t plan on buying anything to replace them.
You should get a can of compressed duster to blow out the detectors. It’s very helpful
I own a few cans of compressed air. It is pretty helpful.

can the GOS go code 3 hi lo like the Mass?
The GOS can’t code itself while on hi-lo. But you could set the GOS to hi-lo and have a panel to code it to temporal.

You know if you have a fire you will have a really early alert of a fire it’s a real good safety thing you’re all covered if you have a fire your hobby will save your life if you have a fire its a step up from having a Residential smoke detector
