Wish i didnt lose my tk16 v2...so i couldve just added this to the collection but now i have to order both tk16 v2 and this cause i just want something different...so im getting this too.
Why not just use colored filters like the HT-18 intead of having 3 different led ? Anyone ? Will be using it as a dedicated hunting lamp using the fenix barrel mounting clamp.
Strobe mode is really only useful for signaling or getting someone's attention. Yes it can disorient an attacker or hostile animal, but it's also highly disorienting for the user as well. If i need to defend myself i want light, not a strobe, i want all the light i can get.
@@user-lv4mc7ke1b LEP's aren't all that good for use on a gun or for hunting, the HT32 is great because it still has a lot of useable flood while having very high candela in a "fairly" compact package (it wouldn't be obscenely out of place mounted as a weaponlight, it would certainly be large for that role though) A hybrid light in the same or similar size with both LED's and an LEP emitter would be the closest we'll probably ever see to "perfect" LEP's are cool for their extreme throw, but for 99% of uses they're TOO focused.
The runtime is actually fantastic for a 21700 battery. If you’re looking for long times of ultra bright light i would recommend the Fenix LR80R or LR50R
Just brought mine. Ships tomorrow. Excited to use it.

ya strobe is no good in a hunting light
i would recommend a HT30R because the beam is so intense. Or the LR60R

they should have installed a 5-6 lumen eco mode for preserving night vision and giving this torch much longer run time WTF??
