This installation looks like a massive undertaking..I wouldn't want to do this myself. How much do you suppose it would cost to have it put in by a professional?
I dont know friend. I make this with a friend. When I started ,can be difficult but its very simple. Just follow the steps. And will be ok . Now,the professional here in portugal you pay something like 250€ just for installation. And the display are another €€€. So I made this for my own risk. And everything is ok and works great. If you interested , just follow this video. I search on TH-cam, and can't see any video to explain the installation for this car. So I decided to do a video for help another people interested in install this android on audi a6 c6.

Does this replace the MMI computer box? I have purchased a 10,25 Android multimedia system for my Audi A6 C6 2007 but then I found out that my car does not have an MMI computer box so I could not plug my new android system. If I purchased this; does it replace that box?
Great video, thanks for taking the time to record everything, I use your video as a reference to do mine, unfortunatly my screen is not working , I don't know why , AC plugs can not be mixed with MMI plugs, just wonder if I plug it wrong or if the fuse in fuse box was dead from the begining, I still have radio, CD player and AC working well, the buttons on the side of the screen , the fonctions are messy , at least the glove box opens. For me car is more important than this display , all oil and fluids changed , all belts replaced, lower and upper arms replaced , air suspensions replaced , all 6 Injectors replaced, now I have almost brand new car , this display is BS a toy only for kids.
I agree with you friend. But sometimes we have to update our car. The technology ever change for better,so I think to update for better is good for our car. Best regards

Agora ao viajar para a Alemanha eu pelo caminho deu-me para fazer actualizações e procurei updates no aparelho e apareceu ums quantos em chinês e eu estúpido por me a actualizar tudo. Agora está tudo descontrolado Diz que eu estou com o telemovel ...só dá riscos...e nao me mostra nenhuma app diz que nao encontra o louncher( gostaria de mandar fotos mas nao sei se dá por aqui...) Porguntei a muitos que vendem estes aparelhos mas wles nao dão informação por nao ter comprado a eles, o vendedor indicado por si, ja nao existe😢 Eu tenho de repor isto em fábrica de novo mas como? Por favor ajude me🙏

How is the fit? Aesthetically how does it integrate into the dash? It looks like half of the gas gauge is obstructed by the screen. Is it?
No friend. You can see gas gauge. But the passenger can't see. But the driver can see. Its a large screen but a good experience

Do you need the Audi AMI for this? I just have the Mmi 2G high in my a6 c6
I think you have to change all wires cables to put this system
