33:37 My answer to this is: Protoss units aren't being trained, they're being _Warped In._ So the time its taking them to exit a Gateway or a Robo or a Nexus is time being spent _warping them in_ from wherever they are. This may be more advantageous to Protoss because maybe their tech is unbelievably complex and takes far far longer than just seconds to minutes to actually be produced, thus it's all mass-produced somewhere else ahead of time and then warped in. Terran Units need time to be outfitted (Marine Combat suits are big and bulky and are assembled onto the infantry in real-time) or built (Siege Tanks are a big and bulky vehicle, that's going to take time to assemble). Zerg units are, of course, _Morphing._ That one is already pretty distinctly shown in-game what is happening there.
Ya know, I've always wondered about this. Zerg are born on the spot, makes sense. Protoss warp units in from elsewhere, makes sense. Terran? Where the hell are all those terrans coming from? What kind of time-chamber-brothel-babymaking is going on in those shady Barracks.
Probably already know, but the reason DTs are fairly effective against worker assassination is because they oneshot the worker. If a unit is instantly killed, you will NOT receive an alert that your units are under attack. The game only alerts if your unit is damaged and survives the attack. Most players pull drones fast because they have an overlord that sees the DT which the player can see (opponent's color) on the mini map. The reason he pulled the drones at 58:02 was because you could see him building a unit there, and then notices a bunch of dead drones. Really good players can sometimes notice their own (green) color disappear on the mini map as well, but that isn't as noticeable. Especially when you got a lot of units in one spot.
I can give A+ for Effort in trying to take down the legendary Protoss-god, Bisu. Again, nice content and commentary! I've been watching your content for hours!
I just love you Falcon! Came to youtube like an hour ago and thought to see some stuff, so I delayed checking on you, and now I am happy because this was posted 40 min ago! Right timing! Wohoooooo
58:35 Obviously Effort should've been checking on his drone lines more carefully, but the notification that you're under attack only triggers if the attacked unit survives a hit, so DTs in a worker line can slash away with impunity, without being given away by the minimap or the announcers.
I have been online for about a decade and have never commented on anything ever! Please bear that in mind as I state that I am compelled to comment on how much I enjoy your commentaries.
A zaelot for a probe (and a zergling) is an amazing trade. It's not only about the 50 vs 100 minerals, also the missed mining should be taken into account. Loosing a probe like in the beginning of game 5 is huge
Cool! Keep doing best of 5! I like it because never know how soon the game will end first game was cool. Not long macro as usual but interesting micro battle zelings vs zealots
In game 3 I thought Bisu was going to go for scouts to peck away at things before anti air. But why did he back up into his main to get early corsairs of all things? Does anyone know what the plan was there?
@@pierrefortin6457 I know why protoss gets corsairs its just he withdrew into his main instead of walling the natural, the only advantage I see for doing this is that he gets a stargate up sooner so I was confused why he did the usual thing and built corsairs which left him vulnerable to the ling flood. If he got a scout it too would have killed overlords, heck it would've done so even faster than the corsair, and it would of been able to do something about the lings.
Sometimes just wonder, maybe its time to try watching SC2 || dota2 || RA3? the main reason I was not : 1. the modern graphics confused me, somehow feel unrealistic ( bias? whatever, at least never more than the little ) 2. not having time to really dive in those units, buildings, meta. (It just add more fun if we know quite those things on games we watched) Hey guys ! I'm a novice
The key to win bisu is avoid early attack Bisu very strong with early attack in 7-8 first minute Effort should built sunken colony and lurker when he vs bisu When after 10-17 minute bisu is tired( because focus too much in early game) and it is the time for effort
thanks for the short games falcon! btw, the reason your long games get more views is not necessarily becuase we like them better, check out 7:14 in this video: th-cam.com/video/fHsa9DqmId8/w-d-xo.html
interesting little game, think at some point the more professional players know how to read games and simply stop playing when nothing else they do will help
More Bisu!!! Thanks for the replays!

The reason for the early probe attack is that 2 zealot hit and one probe hit kill a zergling which makes the zealots much more effective.
Thanks for all the amazing brood war replays lately! I'm getting addicted :)
No problem, Thom!

I did not know this! Great info, and will definitely keep it in mind! Thank you
Fun fact: this is true also in Red Alert 2 (i think).
Lore-wise, the Protoss are warping in units from Aiur. And we saw what happens on the inside of a barracks in the SC2 WoL trailer.
The thing I've always wondered is where they warped stuff from after the initial fall of Aiur?
@@stefanc4520 Shakuras, and later Spear of Adun. Those come to mind at least initially

58:39 - I was not expecting that spawning pool to make it! What a relief.

45:24 Falcon needs detection to see Protoss Observer lol
Truth!

Right, I know. Still hurts to see.
We are here to support effort
There is no worse feeling than hotkeying back to your main to find your entire drone line brutally massacred.
Hey keep up the good work
Im a fan of starcraft but not a hardcore fan i just love old starcraft child memories..
@2 Metres Above ssoo u gay?
I have been online for about a decade and have never commented on anything ever! Please bear that in mind as I state that I am compelled to comment on how much I enjoy your commentaries.
I would seriously love to see a Starcraft movie. I think it should be. A 3part movie though
That second game was a great example of aggressive early Protoss versus turtling zerg.

Bisu such a monster.. that pack of corsairs were monsters
Falcon the logo in the first map isn’t pepsi. Those are tide pods lololol
For BO5's, any way you could stick the score up on the screen for reference?
thx for streaming dude! how about making tutorials based on replays? like focusing on one player and watching his gameplay.
In game 3 I thought Bisu was going to go for scouts to peck away at things before anti air. But why did he back up into his main to get early corsairs of all things? Does anyone know what the plan was there?
If protoss doesnt go corsair early.. muta micro will destroy everything

33:52 You could call zealot legs a training. They move faster, which also means they dance faster :)
Red Zerg looks amazing
Red Zerg goez fasta!
"Training" I think probably involves mentally preparing units to be painfully sacrificed to protect lines of blue rock and green farts.
bisu is so sick with it!
Великолепный протосс ... Бису.
omg thats amazing falconpaladin that you would just say that you would add a anti spoiler lenght to the video
effort changed nick during this bo5?o.o
Two favorite players
Hey Falcon, can you tell me the name of the last map?
Neo Jade. :)
@@FalconPaladin nice, thanks man. I've learned a lot about the game and how to play better from you and your great casting. :)
Pepsi: "Euch verklagen? Das ist kostenlose Schleichwerbung xD!"
idk i think falcon underestimates the training required to fight in space war. :P
Effort was cool!
it's not a pepsi logo, it's the korean flag turned on it's side
I love StarCraft
I got my Pepsi at Tracey's
This seriously needs to be a shirt.
The last match zerg was going only hydras and not tech switching, and yeah that was an early gg.
Does anyone still play
34:24 he cancelled the lair! Mindgames?
When was this game played by the guys?
effort is awesome
I felt like bisu should of used the dt and prevent the hydra from killing the forge. The overlord prevented the dt from doing anything anyways

Hey guys ! I'm a novice
Tnx.
Very nice bo5, Effort is great. Last game he missed his zerglings.
LMAO La.Friendly keepin it real here
12:03 bisu didnt misplace that pylon. Small units like zerglings, Marines and zealots can slip passed them no matter how walled off you are.
Zealots are the biggest of these three thatyou mentioned, so for them is a bit harder to slip trough some buildings
The key to win bisu is avoid early attack
Bisu very strong with early attack in 7-8 first minute
Effort should built sunken colony and lurker when he vs bisu

Pepsi logo? Close, but not quite I reckon. Given that this is Starcraft, my money is on it being a rotated Taegeuk from the South Korean flag...
Protoss units warp, terrans train, zerg hatch
52:20 4 weakly casts
BISU ROCKS! XD
the first one was such a short-epic wasn't it
I think so. :)
@@FalconPaladin and then what a comeback, I am watching the rest of it now :)
and the Epic bisu Storms, so sweeeeet on that 3rd game
its totally a windmill... totally
what's with all the Nazi maps?
that doesnt look like a windmill :\
somehow .. i think protos are op on sc 1 ?
I very want to sleep ( cant see all) when watch effort play
Good game BISU
Rip bob the zealot
BvZ is the best matchup
thanks for the short games falcon!

Yup! Makes sense. :)
He is a zealot... toastmonster
Rat tactic from bisu
Did you ever think of becoming an opera singer? And do not comment on Starcraft
Bisu is a legendary
:D
no join button anywhere. No join for you !!
Yeah, I checked like three times. Maybe because it isn't TH-cam US?
Yea I dont see it either, dont know if it's because Im in Europe
Some advice. Don't scream so much when stuff is happening. Remain calm and mature and tell us what you see. Getting hyped is no good
