I’m from Åland Islands which is an autonomous region of Finland where we speak Swedish and it’s placed between Finland and Sweden with population of not even 30k and I found out about the podcast through Co-optional when TB was alive and I have Gb fiber for just 60€ a month as an bonus.
Now that'd i'd listen to! Sick synthpop beat, nice and slow, and then in the middle, right before the climax you hear the fucking green cheetah story lmao
I think there should be a Cox n Crendor bingo - with stuff like: Crendor's health, IKEA, Intersection of Doom, Florida man, Stranger talks to Jesse, Jesse's car, Crendor mispronounces something, Jesse vs YT algorithm, Old age etc....
Aaah, you saw my request! Thanks guys, it made my day to hear you looking at MK. Love listening to you! And for the record, I'm listening from China :P
Weather request for Bayamón, P.R., my hometown. we have the oldest continuos operating rum brand on the island, operating from its original location Hacienda Santa Ana they offer aged rum, from 2 stars, which is the youngest, 3 stars is the original blend, 4 stars is only sold on the Hacienda's visitor centre, where you fill & seal your own bottle, there is a five star but that one was made for a limited time during 2018, & an Unopened barrel, sealed since 1952, called La Doña, also called the freedom barrel. Also there is various places to eat including food trucks that you might enjoy. Keep up the good show, it brightens up an otherwise dull commute.
I'm from Greenland, but live in Norway, due to wanting to strengthen the collaboration in the film industry. My little brother introduced me on episode 7 and been following ever since. Thank you both so much for the endless entertainment and occasional looks from people when I laugh by myself while listening. Still waiting for whoppy to do weather on Greenland, Nuuk or Kangerlussuaq :')
Jesse wondering how we abroad folks discovered Cox n Crendor like we poor souls don't have internet or something :D Culture is americanized. In Poland at least, in 90s I grew up surrounded by American music, movies, television, games. So it was natural for me to also start watching American TH-camrs when this whole thing (I mean proper youtubing by TH-camrs xp) started. I personally watched your WoW videos and later on discovered Crendor and this podcast.
Weather request for Sofia (not pronounced like the name), Bulgaria - the country where during the 9th century the Cyrillic alphabet was created. The city was once a roman town called Serdica, nowadays there are lots of food options - from Shopska salad to Kebapcheta, to Banitsa or Doner. Active night life, popular destination for shooting of Hollywood movies.
The funny thing is that Sovietwave actually has a lot of rad bangers in the genre! There is a channel called Nomad Shepard that uploads music from 80's and 90's Eastern Europe thats all synthpop and such and it has a lot of great songs.
I feel Crendor when it was hard for him to recognize a Karen in the wild at first. I feel like I have trouble recognizing hostility towards me when it's subtle. I had that happen to me at work one time and I completely froze up, I couldn't think of a response or process what was going on.
Speaking of music... Jesse and Crendor, if you remember that I made a mashup a few years ago with your new Orleans sample in it... I deleted it off of SoundCloud, but included it at the end of a recent mix posted here on TH-cam. It's in Drop Hop Shamalamakalamity.
Weather suggestion: Castleton, Derbyshire (prn. Dar-bee-shir), England. Its a tiny village (only about 650 people live there) but its a big stop for tourists because it's in the Peak District National Park which is at the southern end of the Pennines (a chain of hills in Northern England). As such it's big with hikers and hill walkers. There are also a bunch of caves around there which were mined in the 1800s for "Blue John" a extremely rare form of Fluorite crystal only found in this area. Also fun fact, the beautiful Cave Dale found just behind Castleton was one of the filming locations for the Princess Bride.
I'm a massive fan of synth-wave! I also love that sexy sax. Try The Midnight "Days of thunder" almost anything from them is fantastic. Other great retro musicians are Timecop 1983, GUNSHIP and Carpenter Brut.
Look, there is a point where going clubbing is no longer cool But then there is a point where it gets cool again Imagine a 80+ man that goes clubbing? That is rad as fuck
Yo, when is the podcast going to be available on Amazon Music? I usually use that for my podcasts, but have to have a whole other app downloaded just for this goodness.
Hi! May I get a weather request from Saipan? It's a U.S. commonwealth island in the Northern Mariana Islands. I grew up here and heard about you from a friend of mine in Florida.
I remember fascwave! Never knew it was called that. I was a tween who was listening to a synth song about lobsters and it was kinda silly and then my friend told me it was from a really racist/sexist speech. I blocked that song from my memory until now!
6:05 I paused shortly after this to comment that if the Traffic Report doesn't talk about "cars rolling down" I'm going to be disappointed. edit: Well shoot.
Can't believe the boys are just now finding out about synthwave! Jesse, you gotta get to a Dance With The Dead and Magic Sword concert! You'd fit right in with this crowd!!
As a Mexican, let me tell you a train may sound cool but it's an horrible environmental transgression, its planned to run through the Mayan jungle and thus interferes with the native delicate fauna plus the impact of tearing down all the trees and what not. Also, note that the Yucatan peninsula area is full of sinkholes, result of the meteor impact that probably triggered the cretaceous extinction, those sinkholes are called cenotes and are sacred in Mayan culture. In short: The Mayan train project is highly insecure, and incredibly damaging to the environment.
Gonna be devil's advocate here, but hearing someone on the phone is more annoying to me than hearing the whole conversation. I don't understand it but it that's just how it affects me. That said, I recognize that I'm the one annoyed by it and the other person is doing nothing wrong and endure it on my own.
@@youreallinsane What I mean is there's tons of people out in public who would talk on the phone. It's one thing to ask them to be quiet if they need to, but simply being annoyed is no reason to come up to someone and tell them to keep it down. A better option would be to just leave.

Consider the following. Coxwave. Like synthwave, but with excerpts from the podcast.

Sovietwave must be one of my favorite new genres.

The music Jesse's talking about is probably synthwave/outrun generally. Stuff like The Midnight.

"Hellooooo Nurse!" loved that bit
The specific vibe of synthwave for "driving around at night" is sometimes called "Outrun"
I might be the only few listeners from Malaysia. Would like a weather request for my hometown of Ipoh! Love you guys.

Hey Crendor, it's pronounced "Milton Keens". Saving you from having another Scarce moment :P
P.s. Jesse, please share your synthwave mix!
I'm a massive fan of synth-wave! I also love that sexy sax. Try The Midnight "Days of thunder" almost anything from them is fantastic.

I’m from Poole, UK. Would be interesting to hear your opinions but the weather is just rain for the next few weeks…
I just enjoy the pronunciation of Milton Keynes 😂
I'm a huge synthwave fan! If you haven't. Listen to Carpenter Brut's Trilogy album. Modern masterpiece
Well, I'd like to request my hometown, Lycksele in Lapland, Sweden. Hey, we gots lotsa restaurants for such a small place.
Surprised that the Milton Keynes facts didn't include the fact it's one of the few UK cities that uses a US-style grid layout
love from Germany, Oldenburg
They aren't trendsetters, they are Crensetters.

That music is called Nightwave

Scandroid's Neo Tokyo is pretty good.
Jesse ... here's the most 80s synthwave you'll find. it's got everything from smooth vocals, sustained guitar, synth bass, gated reverb drums, piano, and, of course, a sax.
The Midnight - Crystalline th-cam.com/video/s4iLX7eWwmE/w-d-xo.html

Sounds like Jesse's been listening to The Midnight
Lovin' the show as always but you missed the most important thing about Milton Keynes (pronounced keens) - the concrete cows! :)
And Mooey. xD
In England, listening while doing the ironing
Jesse please look up Nightwave Radio

Crendor could only look left cus Jesse was right 😔
isn't there an internet rule or something that points out how eventually every subject in culture can be be taken to the point of fascism?
Jesse won't go to a club cuz he's too old, but he will play video games for a living
