Great review! We just watched the movie last night and I agree with your comment that the interactions among the teens and their awkward plans of how to defeat the invaders felt natural. The girls were great actresses, considering they were fairly new to acting. This film shows great promise for the director and the actresses, and I hope to see more stories from Nunavut or other areas of the North.
Its pretty much like a 50s horror movie, cool teenagers take on a monster as in The Blob and a dozen others. Despite all its weaknesses, it's fun and on top of that an excuse to have an adventure and just zone out in an exotic locale.

I was impressed but got tired of them only using weapons once ( huge blade looked nasty) also would have gone back for gun under the building. Overall good movie
If they talked like eskimo's like I am and translate it for you guys to understand it, it would've been good movie. Our language here is dying and these girls should've talked more Native Language
Great ensemble kid movie with great personal interactions. Sort of a Goonies meets invasion of the body snatchers.
