Frankie Vallie and his songs will always be timeless. ..the ending arrangement here is just marvelous man. To say I love this song is an understatement. ..WOW..OH YESSSS.
I am 21 years old and grew up on music like Frankie Valli and Jay Black. I think it is likely due to my father being a kid from the Bronx. Whatever the case, I know a lot of young people can relate to my experiences driving in the car with my dad listening to these amazing songs at the age of 5. My message is this... influence your friends to listen to this stuff. It is the only way it can survive! They know the tunes. They just need to understand the importance of the artist as well!
I love Frankie Valli music always did...cant believe he is still doing shows at 90 that is some effort.i feel sad to see how he use to be compared to now...i live in Ireland but got to see him in 2022 in the UK even got a photo with him.
My wife and I saw him three weeks ago in Oklahoma- met him backstage and got our pic taken with him- what a thrill and a super nice person. (BTW his falsetto was alive and well.)
The person playing keyboards (and singing) to Frankies right is Jerry Corbetta who was part of the band for the early 80's. He is best known as lead singer for Sugarloaf who had 2 hits 'Green Eyed Lady' #3 and 'Don't Call us, We'll Call You' #9, both co-written by Jerry. Sadly, he passed on in 2016 at age 68.
I just saw Frankie in concert a few days ago, and let the naysayers burn, he was hitting the high notes like he was in his 20s. He put on an unbelievable show, and I strongly urge everyone to go if he comes to town... it was the best night of my life.
I love this song if the original band passed away I wished that I could've seen them in concert they must be having a great time up in heaven with each other
I've seen the Jersey Boys and Midtown Men knock-offs, and while they were fun and enjoyable, I couldn't help think that no one can match Frankie Valli's voice on these great songs.
Jersey Boys was an Amazing SHOW!! Love Frankie and the 4 Seasons......since I first them....as a youngster!!! and then...Who Loves you..... in college...... was another one.....! Love it
Hello I am so sorry if this sounds weirds but you wrote such a nice and wonderful comment on here and like your comment. I can tell you're a very positive person. If it's okay with you I'd love to be friends.
He doesent even sing live now. But honestly it doesn't surprise me considering the type of singing he does. It's hard to maintain a falsetto voice and a normal voice
People sound different at different stages of their life, the early 60's will NEVER be recreated, I still think they sound great here. Different yes but still good.
@laxty2469 Totally man. I am 27 and I grew up as well. My dad used to rock me to sleep with those songs. I remember going to the beach listening to them.
At one time, I had a video of this concert, but don't know where it is anymore. I do have a concert tape from around 1992 I believe, similar to this one. I'm pretty sure it's available again due to the popularity of Jersey Boys on DVD.
What a rocking great band backing him... High-energy the whole way and looking like they're just having fun! Does anyone know if a copy of this entire concert is available anywhere?
I think it was the Summer of 1967 that by accident got to see them Atlantic City Steel Pier. They were pretty good live. By that time, I switched over to the Doors and other cool bands. But the Four Seasons and the Beach Boys were the best talent we had to listen to (after Buddy Holly died?) before the Beatles and rest of the British Invasion bands came to North America. I like the vinyl original "Let's Hang On" much better than this.
@ricosolo56 Good question. I grew up with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, but he is 76, and the falsetto may have left. Could it be???? It's not the same song without it.
@@rosarioreside3327 Greetings, my question was in response to a TH-cam member who is no longer here… who mentioned Frankie had lost his falsetto in the 80’s but had surgery to correct it.I had no knowledge of that, that why I was curious.I’m a huge fan of Mr. Valli.
Right you are!!! This is very embarrassing. Frankie Valli is just cashing in on the old Four Seasons songs. I saw real group : Valli, Gaudio, Long and DeVito in '67 , the show I saw so different, it was more like the Beatles, Stones or classic Beach Boys concert a real 1960s rock and rock concert. This is just a sad embarrassment! Mr. Valli should retire with some class or better yet reunite with the other "real" Four Seasons andgive the fans the concert they really want!

It's wonderful how he shares himself fully with the audience. He's a gem
Nice clip ... Valli has had more hits than people realize ... this has been a terrific year for him ,given the Broadway show and all ...

I wished that I could've seen them in concert

I saw Frankie Valli and the Four Seaons when I was 11 years old in 1968 at West Point, New York and it was a fabulous show!
Thank you for sharing I appreciated😊
Did a lot of dancing to this song in 8th grade. This was the sound of the times and it was wonderful then and remains so now!
I've seen the Jersey Boys and Midtown Men knock-offs, and while they were fun and enjoyable, I couldn't help think that no one can match Frankie Valli's voice on these great songs.
Amen to that.!!!!!
love how he holds the note in the beginning
He is awesome

Saw him a week ago! He's fantastic!
my favorite jersey boys song...then Big Man in Town, then Walk like a Man
Wow. I know he can't hit the high notes today, but I didn't realize he wasn't hitting them back in the early 80s either. That's surprising.

Caught Jersey Boys in Chik a go go and what a great time.

Is any of us the same as we were??
He looks just like the actor who was on the Sopranos.
Who has/had the greater range: Frankie Valli, Lou Christie, or Del Shannon?
haha same
Who were the band members for this concert??
where is his falsetto??????????
@ricosolo56 Good question. I grew up with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, but he is 76, and the falsetto may have left. Could it be???? It's not the same song without it.
@annsmovie4u
I know, It was my favorite show. I was busting balls.
His falsetto voice was gone in 1982?
Ho we did you know that Frankie’s Falsetto is gone?

why dont u all stop putting frankie down i bet u lot coundnt even sing a high note
He was also only 2 years back into performing because he had surgery to correct osteosclerosis (hardening in the middle ear that caused hearing loss)
steve thomas I hit high notes in both my regular voice in girl voice 😂😂 I don’t know why I told you I can speak in a girls voice
o and frankie was not pitchy
I believe the word you're looking for is "pitchy" lol... but yes, very flat.
His greatest performance.
