It seems like a blast gate operates like a window so perhaps a magnetic sensor (like on house alarm systems) going back to a panel with red and green lights.
But then I'd have to remember to look at the panel.😆 Maybe if it was attached to a shock collar that would give me a little jolt every time I forgot to change them, I'd be more conscious of them.
@@southernadirondackoutdoors Got to thinking about it, the sensors on the blast gates and lighted panel is a really good idea. I have 8 blast gates and I'll be adding 2 more soon. All of them are not easily visible. I may look into rigging up an indicator system. Thanks!

I like that. I built a router sled 5 X 10 feet. Having seen this and owning a 32 inch RAS. I'm going to rig it for small stuff.
