You can’t suvive such punishment at NG+4 as he kills you with 2-3 hits. Am maxed out on everything and it is way harder than all previous runs. The more you complete the game the stronger high health enemy become and the weaker more vulnerable you character becomes. I got revived twice for a transformation and twice by a Life Strand Spell with 20 Gourds usage and still cannot beat him for the 4th day in a row at NG+4. Once he hits you he kills you nonstop.
This guy is actually easier than expected 1st phase I use the distance charge attack. 2nd phase I attack and just before smash comes I roll dodge and overhead smash.
I can’t believe it. I just beat him first. Try on new game plus I beat him first try honestly I don’t know how I did it all I know is I used the stone monkey transformation and it did a lot of damage
This boss needs to be nerfed he straight tanked your last 4 spear moves complete garbage, twice i've had this fight in the fucking bag and he just turns off damage at the end of the fight and starts chaining ublockable combos with no way to counter, very bad design.
Guess I’m gonna have to spend the rest of my fine gold thread on the Pilgrim Armor set. Only have four and I’m pretty sure that’s not enough to fully upgrade.
Try NG+4 am stuck at this boss for 4 days. You won’t even have time to use the Gourd. 3 hits you are dead. I tried to be as far as I can but still you have to be close to him at one point and thats it he kills you nonstop. I felt way more vulnerable when maxed out than the first run. You need luck as all builds get shattered at this point and simply become non existant.

It's not - check his strands list at the beginning. NG+ has "life saving strand". Obviously he beat Erlang to get the spear and blew his resources on the pilgrim set - my approach was to save resources to craft all armor sets possible so I only upgraded pilgrim bit.
@@MrJuice-qe7nvYou can reach Erlang before you do this fight. I did. Just do all the secret areas and the treasure hunter chest. What did you think Erlang is NG+ only?

This worked so well but I put more into smash instead of thrust
unfortunately this tutorial means I need to go grind a bunch of stuff I don't have.

How are you getting so much damage on your wight? I've got the same build and don't do nearly half that amount.
You have to sprint in order to build up your attack. It’s a perk of the pilgrim armour set.
First try got him an the 6000 damage first hit is crazy got that toi
If that happened to me and I still lost the fight, I'd instantly shut the PS5 off and leave the room
I dont know if you this. But the stats in the transformation nodes are universal (passive stats).. you dont gotta be in transformation state.

Keep running away from him two hits and run at the end of the arena. Only Dodge his heavy attack. Just hold temptation for hitting him.
