Yeah, not so fun fact: Chan was half paralyzed 2 days before this performance 😳 he was supposed to do a front flip but landed on his neck during the practice I believe. While watching their performance, you wouldn't even know he was injured. He's just incredible 🥲

@@olivialion2503 it's crazy right? He revealed this on Channie's Room last year, and they medically did something to his neck to allow him to move for the performance or something. I'm just mindblown, the sacrifices this man did for the sake of Stray Kids 🤯

Han and Changbin play off each other so well. They are always a pleasure to watch, on stage and informally.
Chan only recently mentioned that he injured his neck quite badly during the dance practice for this and they had to modify the choreography. He still has to be careful of his neck.

There's a video that also shows not only the JYP dancers (Stray Kids), but also the YG Entertainment dancers they were battling against.
In that video, Stray Kids demonstrated much more versatility, hard dancing and humor than the YG dancers.
I think those characteristics have been part of SKZ from the beginning (think their songs Get Cool and Awkward Silence for humor, which other groups don't seem to have, sometimes). It's one of the reasons I like them so much.
As far as the rap......Han and Changbin demonstrated very early, even before Stray Kids was formed, that they had MAD skills. You can easily see it in the video you watched. Han and Changbin wrote the rap, and Bang Chan composed / arranged the music for that performance.

Yay! Thank you again for posting this on YT! for YT watchers: I answered some of his questions on Patreon. The black thing on the floor? A bug. lol
I should say that Stray Kids did vocal, rap and dance for the battle. The rounds though were actually: 1st round - open (do what you want) YG side did a vocal solo song (by Bang Yedam). JYP side did the rap. 2nd round - vocal. YG did a group vocal. JYP group vocal. 3rd round - dance. Both sides did very well, and I'm sure it's because I'm biased to Stray Kids, but I think JYP won this one :)

I have to explain a little bit the reaction of YG.
Basically they had 3 rounds : vocal, dance and free not rap.
Skz decided to do a rap for the free round whereas YG made Yedam sing alone.
But you don't much so you don't know that YG is an agency known for their rappers so it was like provocation.
