I've always loved the idea of Batman having a temporary batcave.

Running past enemies is news to me, but now that I've seen it done, it seems like a really Batman thing to do. You never see him picking fights unnecessarily, and the bad guys never know he was even there, until they get hit by a Batarang or a punch.
The hell was wrong with the donator guy, it sure was awkward for the runner cause he thought there was no donation.

Cojosao is always my favorite runner each year he's in for GDQ, I love how he's able to stay talkative and funny throughout an entire hour+ run

Fun Fact: in german "Gift" translates into poison. Not quite "gas" but still it has nothing to do with the "gifts" english speakin ppl know ;)

Well, in English it's called "Joker Toxin", and "toxin" means "poison", so "Joker Gift" is fairly literal and accurate.
Swedish would be worse and more complex, while also a germanic language and extremely similar to German in many regards, both "poison" and "married" sound and are spelled the exact same.

Is it really random who grabs the Titan at the end? I've only ever seen Bane, and I've beaten the game 5 or 6 times.
It is random. In about 20 playthroughs, either Bane, Killer Croc, or Scarecrow would grab the crate.
Playthroughs were mostly identical in length and performance by the end, so it must be random.

Why would you ever wonder that? Why would ANYONE ever have to wonder such a thing? Even if you DON'T speak German yourself it should be pretty easy to realize that "oh, it's another language, maybe 'gift' doesn't mean the same thing as in my language". You thought they just changed it from one English word to another, unrelated word, while they literally dub everything known to man to their own language? I mean you could Google translate it for yourself in 2 seconds flat, instead of writing a very confused comment here. I am baffled
I was confused a little too tbh. Mostly because I assumed the runner said it in English. Like, that he translated it back to English from German. I think its weird that he just said it in German? Should have just said "in German its called Joker's Poison." And avoided any confusion.
Origins has the best written characters in the story
Speedrunning on easy shouldn't ever be a thing man. Its like if im going to bowl a 300 perfect game but im gonna put on the rails then whats the point of even going for a perfect game?
The difficulty is there to seperate the gamers who are willing to speedrun in the first place, nobody playing on easy would appreciate this speedrun, they're likely just video game reviewers or fake gamers who can't accept defeat, their isn't a big repercussion for failing games like in arcades where your skill gave u more playtime, they already got your money when you bought it, the only challenge is to master the hardest difficulty and its never much of a challenge.
Like i dont buy many games so idk if its just me but when i do i play on the hardest because its a feeling of accomplishment, it irks me to not get 100% finish too.
And i dont ever use the internet to find these things.
Its kinda why i stopped gaming because most of it is padded with item finds and repetitive sidequests most people look online to finish or master shortcuts.
Engelberg Munoz A speedrun isn’t about difficulty, challenge, or a feeling of accomplishment. It’s about finishing a game as fast as possible, it’s kind of in the name.
Arkham Origins might be my least favorite in the series (IDK I haven't beat'in Arkham Knight yet) butt I still do think it's very underrated

Lord SkeIetor Well it is opinion based. To me I hated a lot of things in the game but overall an enjoyable experience.
I myself think Origins is on the same level as Arkham City. Didn't have the best ending, but the story progression was quite awesome, imo. Loved they way they showed Joker on this game.

You're completely right, but in fact the German word has the same origin as the English word "gift", but in fact, in the Middle Ages people started to use it ironically for poison and used it so much that over time, the originial meaning "present" fell completely out of use.

I have a question for speedrunners, if any come across this, is it possible that an individual will have a skip, prove it's legit, but never explain how to do it as to keep it a secret for himself? Kind of like a secret recipe in order to keep his time the best that others will have to struggle to re-create?
I just wanted to know if this was something that happens, and if so how frequently, in the speed running community.
Quote in order to prove that the trick is legit it must be validated by other runners, if it can not be repeated the run will be called invalid and the runner will be labeled as a cheater by the always caring, comprehensive and loving internet community.
That is why when runners find new tricks or unknown glitches they usually will ask the community to replicate them, in order to know exactly how to do it.
^ Basically, yeah. And honestly, if they don't share it, then you can guarantee serious speedrunners will analyse the shit out of the video and figure out how to do the skip if it's actually possible to replicate.
And if regular speedrunners can't figure it out then TAS runners will

I agree. I have yet to play Arkham Knight, which I postponed because of the terrible bugs ... But the other three have all been solid fun. No masterpieces, but some great scenic events and the gameplay is overall enjoyable.

It's a bad game because it has serious bugs and the publisher straight up effectively said it doesn't give a fuck about them (said they won't be fixing any bugs anymore), and then went on to discuss upcoming DLC.
I will not support this business practice.
Arkham Origins is definitely a better game than Arkham Knight. I have them all, and if you enjoy tank sequences good for you, but a vast majority of Knight is nothing but tank sequences. And a majority of boss fights are you playing stealth tank. Funnily enough, for not doing anything new, Origins had more unique fights in it than the entirety of Knight. And let's not mention that Arkham Knights story was terribly predictable and bland as well.
I've beaten this game at least a hundred times, I think it's time I speedrun it.

In my own opinion, this was the worst Batman game they have ever made. It was SO BORING and everything about it was trash. The fighting was a lot different from the other games, the puzzles we're terrible and the map was ridiculously small. The boss fights didn't make me feel like I have accomplished anything unlike the other games. I wanted to like it since everyone else was saying it was the best, but I just accepted that I thought it was the worst. I don't know why people say origins wasn't good because it is pretty dang close to Arkham city in my own rating... Anyways, that's my opinion.
Not to mention you spend the majority of the game in detective mode.

What's the real difference between a turbo controller and a mousewheel bind? I guess rules are game specific but I still find it weird that this is allowed. It's not that much different from a macro or a turbo controller. What are your guys thoughts on it?
The difference lies with software or hardware. If the layout of the control scheme can be achieved in the software it is legit, if you need new hardware it is not.

Maybe im a noob for saying this and ive inkt played the titles after Asylum intensely, nu instead of ripping out the wall grates, why not slide through em? Saves you about 2 to 3 seconds. Just don’t know if there’s sliding in Asylum and if the grates physics are the same as in City, if so you’d be better off sliding through them

the arm on the titan post-credits is random?? I've ALWAYS gotten Scarecrow. is it random on the 360 version? thats what i've beaten like 4 or 5 times.

I don't get it so he is playing on PC with a PS4 controller but why do the buttons appear as if he is playing on a Xbox controller?
Because PC version = Windows = Microsoft, Windows "basic" controller is an XBOX, and also, the game was released on Windows Store => Microsoft.
Also, PS4 controller can be used on PC of course but need a specific driver/layer that any XBOX controller doesn't really need, so it's easier for developer to put xbox icon than to search and detect if a driver/layer for ps4 controller is present.
When he does the "garbage skip" why did he bother de-electrifying (not a word) the water if he was just going to glide over it?
Probably because the game required it as a Chapter within the engine, aka a mandatory game state for the next part to happen

dewae115 by binding the a button to scroll wheel, he basically mashes a (scrolls the wheel) to get multiple trophies in one go. It’s also how he opens vents so fast.
