Me here, I loved their songs since I was young living in a non English spoken country, back then I even did not understand lyrics, loved their voices and music. Now I can understand perfectly and be enjoying their music even more. Much appreciated ❤
I played this song hundreds of times after my husband of 17 years left me & our 2 young sons. It was devastating but at the end of the day, his loss..❤
I am 62 and I remember hearing this song when I was very young and loving it and singing along. All these years later, I am still singing along. Still love it.
We're in our late 60's and when we hear this song we dance like we did in high school. Arms wrapped around each other with a kiss at the end. We love the BeeGees!
You are my age. And if you celebrate your bigger Wedding Anniversary dates - 25, 30, 40yrs etc...this should always be your 1st dance on every single Anniversary - we always dance in our kitchen, lol.. and we have even begun thinking of a mutual song when our final day on Earth comes to pass. So many beautiful songs of love to choose from. Young's Harvest Moon is also very sweet, with a beautiful video as well. ❤

No one can match the harmonies of Bee Gees brothers... Real musicians... Real sounds... Touching to my heart everyday.. Heart felt peace with their music. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
So yeah Hozier has great harmonies on many songs, CS&N, too. Bee Gees went global quickly, and Beach Boy's are good, tho not my personal taste except a few songs. To each his own, but I never question the talent. Eagles were also good. Pure Prairie League had "Falling in and out/Amie" ..great harmony. Still plays today.
My parents died two years apart when I was a little boy and I could never listen to this song without weeping. But it also made me feel a little better too, like a release valve on a very overtopping dam. It still does it, all these years later.
❤. I lost my mom & dad one year apart from each other. It’s now 3 yrs since mom passed and two for my dad. It hasn’t gotten easier. Everyday, I hear a song or watch a movie that reminds me of them and tears come running down. I’m so sorry and understand what your comment means.
Its Christmas eve..well Christmas day now..have a beautiful day to anyone that reads this..This too shall pass' is the only thought im lucky enough to remember
It's also my FAVORITE SONG FROM THEM!! BUT, The song "WORDS" is a close 2nd. Now that Barry performs alone most of the time, his wife, Linda, is usually in the audience and he ALWAYS SINGS THIS SONG AND DEDICATES IT TO HIS WIFE BEFORE HE SINGS IT! When I married my wife 28+ years ago, "WORDS" WAS PLAYED AT OUR RECEPTION. BEAUTIFUL SONG!
Amen to that ,i was born in 1968 and i have been listening to the Bee Gees and Andy Gibb since i can first remember hearing them on the radio and my mom played their vinyl records endlessly ❤
I've heard this song so many times throughout my life, but only more recently as I get older and have seen and witnessed the disappointments of life and the loss of loved ones have I realized how powerful the lyrics truly are. "We could never see tomorrow, no one said a word about the sorrow" and "Please help me mend my broken heart and let me live again" have become so real and pertinent to my life. It seems for our protection no one older and wiser truly prepares us for the sorrows we will face, how to mend a broken heart, or how to live with a broken heart for the times it cannot be mended. Life is truly wonderful, but it certainly isn't as easy as it seemed in the naivety of youth and everything that brings joy is also always tainted with some sadness we cannot avoid.
With 4 decades of songs, The Bee Gees are still the best !!!! I have been listening to them since I was a child! I’m 69 now and still love their music! There will never be another group like them!

They planted a decade, more than a decade, three of them are already dead, when I hear something from them, it's incredible how one is transported to the 70's, late 60's, 80's and today we only have memories . a group compared only to the euphoria of The Beatles and their fame, the glory of Elvis Presley and the other decade of the great Barry White, merits that have not yet been recognized as they really deserve it.
+Barclay Benjamin (Barcrrt) You see that hurt them as well, their albums were platinum, gold outside the U.S.Take for example the E.S.P album which i believe has REAL JEWELS was gold in Spain,2xplatinum in Switzerland, platinum in the U.K and 3xplatinum in Germany. How much did it sell in U.S? When BAD was released the sales reached the sky, though i like M.Jackson E.S.P is bar far a much better album. What do you think?
I caught the tail end of the boomer years, so I'm 62. I'm kind of sorry for your generation. life wasn't perfect back then for sure, but we had so much to look forward to. it was beautiful and we weren't afraid to love deeply and dream. this was pop music. you should listen to another one of their songs called 'how can you mend a broken heart.' I see my 34-year-old son perfectly happy living alone with his online friends, I don't get it, but he's happy.
Sandy you posted this comment 10 months ago. Your prayers are that the Father of life will help you learn to live without Nicole's love. You are not doing so well... My prayers still stand you say and He is with you, you say.. but you aren't trusting Him. Life in this world will cause you trouble as you have read in God's word. Leave your troubles to Him.
Michael Jackson: "When the Bee Gees came out in the ‘70s, that did it for me. I cried. I cried listening to their music. I knew every note, every instrument.... [sings] 'How can you stop the rain from falling down?' ... I love that stuff. And when they did _Saturday Night Fever_, that did it for me. I said, 'I gotta do this. I know I can do this.' ... And I just started writing songs."
@@crashcarney100 It is amazing. It is a funny story how Michael used to hang out at Barry's house and watch TV and laugh at the crowds who thought he was still at the hotel. Hanging out with Barry and his family gave MJ a sense of normalcy amidst all the chaos he was experiencing. They were very good friends. I think that was the biggest best kept secret. Michael happened to be visiting Barry when Maurice suddenly and shockingly passed away. Michael gave Barry alot of support during that time. MJ is Barry's son Michael's Godfather.
True legends. Our hearts are still with them all, even those that have since passed. Sending love and prayers to Barry for his losses. I know he misses his brothers terribly. There will never be a band like this again. They just can't be copied.
*I'm leaving my comment here so that after a year, when someone like it, I'll be notified and play this masterpiece again !*

America fell in love with these guys. They were different and they were somehow special. God bless them ♡
+Barclay Benjamin (Barcrrt) except for the radio stations who refused to play all the wonderful albums after 1980.
Thund3rbolt Their loss :)
Special feelings about this music... totally goes inside the heart
The were different is rite ......In a different category of AWESOME!!
Love The Bee Gees they are great singers and song writers. Had a major crush on Berry
I will never ever get tired of the Bee Gees! Such a class act!!

How can a loser ever win? Help me mend my broken heart and let me live again... Nicole Wathen Beavers....
So loved them, so sad, only Barry left to carry on. My favorite group. Never get tired of this song. ❤
I love them too and I so love this song. I listen to it everyday and always singing it to myself. It is beautiful!!!!!!!❤️🙋♀️🇸🇪

Best group ever! I’m 76 yrs old and still playing music- better than the Beatles in my opinion!
Loved how all the women in the audience lost it when he sighed *ANNNNND* into the microphone! That man could do no wrong!
Justin Joseph I scream EVERY TIME I LISTEN! My husband laughs! We have this DVD and EVERY SONG IS PERFECTION!! ❤❤❤
Justin Joseph That'd be funny if they threw their granny panties on the stage.
N Knighton I'm not THAT OLD YET and who says 50 year old women, like myself, wear any panties....let alone granny painties!!

Joseph Scott i love michael he sure was inspired by these amazing singers
Joseph Scott
Have you heard Michael and Barry's duet? "All in your name"
MJ is Barry's son Michael's Godfather.
i love the beeges
Awesomex3 equals the 3 brothers!!
True legends. Our hearts are still with them all, even those that have since passed. Sending love and prayers to Barry for his losses. I know he misses his brothers terribly. There will never be a band like this again. They just can't be copied.
1word..PERFECT!! In every way you could Imagine...
