They are the sweetest couple. He said he married his therapist! That's pretty deep... ❤
This was such a great doc!!! It was sorta a love story as well, him and his wife!! Such a great watch!
Love this guy! Love those who try to break the system! Looks like he was trying to break it. And I’m here for it. Capitalism is weird.
One of the most entertaining things I’ve watched on Netflix in ages. Viva the Pez Outlaw!
My understanding is that the usefulness of the Ebay business model came from when the developer's wife put a Pez dispenser up for auction many years ago.
Brilliant story telling, very entertaining, very moving backstory as well. The world needed this PEZ outlaw!
They should have named this "The PEZ Dispenser"
More interesting than expected but also..the couple was adorable.
Love The Pez Outlaw!! Stick it to the Man!!
Loved this...
Thanks for sharing this great story ! And what a beautiful couple ❤️
Just watched this.. great doc!
These adorable PEZants!
Love this document everyone in their have such a cute personality
If that guy at pez really just didn’t like collectors or cared at all about the kids or their customers he would’ve rereleased the pez pistol line for $4.
Great documentary! Funny and interesting 👍
Excellent movie
Looks great.
The pez community ain't no joke now.
Did they say $1million for the most expensive dispenser?
The guy on pawn stars only wanted $2500
The highest sold pez was a political donkey and only 2 are known to exist and that sold for 13k$
Breaking Pez
Wow
Never knew about his and until now. Whilst the story is both funny and inspirational, the end is sad too. However we should bear in mind that at the nd of the day what he did was illegal and he knew it. Inter alia, despite the aforementioned, people should also realise that when you make money keep saving and diversifying that way he would never have risked everything and got into so much debt at the end! Also was a bad mistake to burn the lot as today and even probably some years back he could have made on them!
It's PEZtastic!
wow ....imPEZible
Tiger King for Pez? Imagine if this came out 3 years ago.
Im PEZamistic
Walter White makes Pez now?
bad friends brought me here
Pez master P! Hahahaha!🤣🤙🤟👌
This the MOST covid Documentary- when we had nothing to watch.
Kinda seems like it's just a greedy dude in a tie-dye shirt tbh...not exactly a robin hood story imo
@@JB-ec1bo if not co-signing on greed and theft is lame then you're 100% correct
@@alwaysrecycles365 none of us are perfect. I’ll root for one man’s “greed” to support his family and help friends out over corporate greed any day. Same with theft
Eh…I could agree if we’re talking about his first smuggling trips but what he did in the end was greed fueled insanity. He could have quit at the top of his game, found legit work and had a comfortable life with his wife for years
More money well-spent 🙄
So let's evaluate this for what it is. Steve Glew took a chance on a scam. He did well with it, until it caught up with him. Then he lost it all. Doesn't make him a hero, and it doesn't make PEZ USA a villain.
And yet, I’ll always enjoy these stories and keep rooting for that guy. Despite your genius analysis
how was it a scam? he was just reselling to collectors that created the demand for it.. he just filled that demand. basic economics. don't get it twisted, this was calculated by Pez. It created more hype/interest around their product. if they didn't want this going on they wouldn't have had regional exclusives. this business model is basically mainstream now.
So this man steals pez and tries to make it his, and we're supposed to feel bad that his ideas were really bad?
why would u make a cinematic netflix movie about some sweet from the supermarket, netflix running out of ideas
Go materialism, capitalism and the police state!!!!
This story contains the sweetest couple I’ve ever had the joy to watch. Such a fab documentary 🎉
