Go buy some union bindings, so much easier to repair and they hold up much better! I broke a pair of Switchback/lobster bindings in one week, got the old union bíndings on, and they're still rocking after 10+ weeks of shredding
How dose Whatever feel, I'm riding huckknife now and looking for a new one between Whatever and Salomon Dancehaul. I like go to parks and do some buttering, but I also want to do a bit carving with my friends cuz they're speed runner🥲. Dose the 3BT really effect the edge control on preload (I just learn 360 on flat)? Dose the soft flex give you a uncontrollable feeling when doing some carving? Cant find any 22/23 BM version suit for me, and the BM version for next year be come another separate model, I dont like the bottom pattern🤧, really need some advice, thanks.
So, you'll experience a bit of pop if you learned to 360 with a bit of prespinning before your tail leaves the ground. If you've learned the pop then spin, then you shouldn't have too much of an issue. I'm a big human so the soft flex is pretty noticeable when buttering and coming out of some carves. You also have to get it over on a decent edge to engage the nose and tail edge with the 3bt so going fast will feel a little like baby speed wobbles on a skateboard.
Did you get a second whatever? Like it better than when you reviewed it? i just picked up a 2024 that is rated a little stiffer than previous years. I wonder if it actually is.

I wish I could. Union stopped making XL bindings and the L pinch my size 14 boots.

It's actually a replacement. My 21/22 started delaminating so they sent me a new one.
