How did you become a producer? Im not asking in a mean way. Im genuinely interested and want to know how you got started. Cause I think I have a great idea for a show (i know everyone says that) but its like the office meets roseanne (the original).
I went to college for film and theater then moved to LA when I graduated and worked extensively in production. While I was doing that I started publishing my own comics and graphic novels. After years of doing that, I started to sell film and tv adaptations of my work, and then eventually started to get hired to work on other people’s tv shows. But the best way to do things these days is to just make them yourself. ;) Good luck!
