About three and a half minutes into the video, your twists looked awesome as a style without taking them a loose. Then you hit me with the second look where you unloosened the twists and the third final look "Pow!" Your finished style is amazing as well!
At first I was thinking that the flexi rod at the end would be a bit too much work, but then I remembered that I was looking for a way to reduce the shrinkage I get when I twist on freshly washed hair. I think the weight of the flexi rod will help stretch the hair and give me the length I want. Thank you!
My problem is, once I go through the trouble of doing a smaller twist, I don't want to take them out. That's a lot of effort. My twist outs POP in the event that I do take them out though. I love your twist out!!
Amazing! I have gone 4 years with no relaxer after the big chop and wore braids only to grow it out just got my last set of crochet braids removed after the 4 years. My hair is now about 12 inches in length. My attempt at twisting has been futile, but somehow I think this method is going to work. I am going to try it tonight on my curly hair (labeled 3c by my beautician) and I am half Jewish and half Jamaican. Thanks for this wonderful video!

Martine Davis thats what i usually do but my hands are in awful condition anymore but i put my heat curlers on ends so it softens the fall of the curl and my hair is naturally below my shoulder blade whew a lot of work

This is going to sound silly, but I teared up watching this because you have hair like mine. I'm mixed and I was raised by my (caucasian) grama. She's the best, and she fixed my hair in Shirley Temple curls, or braids until middle school. 6-12th grade I basically braided it or put it in a pony. I never stoped to look for or have someone tell me anything to do with my hair. (I've not been around mixed or African American people often, until my friends in college.) For a few years now I've been looking on the internet into things trying to figure out what to do with my hair to keep it from being frizzy, and tangled, and what to use in it etc. I've been looking at how to twist and do a twist out today and it's nice to see videos like this for people like me who have no idea what to do to with their hair yet.
