Gokyo Shumyo - Problem 6-42 (Black to Play)

Gokyo Shumyo (碁経衆妙), or "Brilliancies from Go Classics", is a famous collection of 520 Go problems, compiled in 1812 by the Japanese player Hayashi Genbi. This collection, with 7 sections, offers excellent practice for amateur players.
This problem is part of a playlist/chapter where I explain all 74 problems in Section 6 (Connect Underneath).
Connect problems are very rare and very valuable for real game situations. Although this section is challenging, it is also truly a treasure trove of useful patterns and techniques!!!

Not in the immediate future. Endgame is about calculation, which is mostly covered in these life & death problems. But I do cover some endgame techniques in some of the game reviews I do (those that get to the endgame).
