For as bad of a game 2k18 was it was personally my favorite layout of the game. It was just big enough to feel like it wasn’t just the courts yet it was still small enough to feel like a basketball game

I think I shed a few tears when vik was pronounced dead, even though it was obvious what was going to happen when he asked for the car, it still hit deep, and then the note he wrote was beautiful

The PS4 version looks kinda of rough but the PS5 version really improved the look

@@JasonTK02Yes you can. You can’t download the game or buy it through PS store you’ll have to get the physical copy. You just can’t play online anymore though or you won’t be able to buy Vc for that game so you’ll have to grind it out. I’ve done this with nba 2k17 and 19. I still play them till this day!

You’re a top 10 ranked player in your class coming out of high school, you just came back from an injury that had you sidelined through most of your senior season and you return for your high school playoffs on way to the state championship. You’re all over power rankings for the 2024 NBA Draft. With the Olympics coming up, Team USA is holding tryouts for the 19U team. Being born to immigrant parents you accept the invite but choose to maintain your eligibility with your family’s home country. You then go to the tryouts and completely destroy the top 9 ranked recruits ahead of you in your Class of 2024 draft prospects. You go on to join Team USA’s 19U team and dominate the competition to win a Gold Medal. After your performance for the Young Men’s National Team, you receive a letter from Coach Pop and Coach Spo to come play for the Team USA Men’s National team alongside NBA Superstars like Lebron James, Steph Curry, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and Kevin Durant. The coaches and the players inform you that you are going to get limited minutes and to just learn from them where you can. In your friendly match against another country, the team throws you into the starting lineup where you perform so poorly that the players and coaches kick you off of the team. Your Family’s Home Country calls you up from the Olympic Committee and asks you to join their team as you have maintained your eligibility and you join them seeking vengeance against the players and coaches who so badly offended you by kicking you off the team and ridiculing you for your poor performance. Set off to prove everyone wrong you tear your way through the competition taking your team to the Olympic Gold Medal Final game against Team USA where you dominate only to suffer another injury in the final 10 seconds of the game. You go into the draft as the consensus #1 pick based off of potential alone but your injury scares GMs away, causing you to fall to the 2nd Round where you are drafted signed by the Miami Heat and Coach Spo. Coach Spo who witnessed everything that has happened the last year of your career with everything that happened with Team USA and your injury history has doubts in your talent and ability to stay healthy and asks you to prove yourself in the G-League before moving you up to the NBA roster. Signed to a 2-Way contract you ball out for both squads through your rookie season and win ROTY for both the NBA and the NBA G-League as well as G-League MVP to begin your NBA journey to stardom. This is your MyCareer!

I havent played a single one of these games since '17. It was $20 at a game store and i jus said "fuck it, i got $20 on me I'll get the newest 2k." This game is awful. Why is there a battlepass in a $70 (retail) game? The graphics are somehow WORSE than a 8 year old game from the same franchise. The game has an annoying fucking podcast you can't turn off everytime you load a match. The open world bullshit makes the game significantly more tedious. By far the worst thing this piece of shit garbage can of a game did was try to monitize the death of Kobe Bryant. I understand that it's been 4 years since his accident but seriously this disgusting garbage doesn't deserve his moniker or anyone elses. Shameful game. I wish i didn't spend my $20 on it. I wouldn't even spend $5 on it.
