This dude is really a prodigy, I’m from the same hood, and he’s really been good since a little kid. He’s from a family of boxers, and he’s a gym rat. He has what it takes to be at the top for a long time, and I expect it to happen. Boots Ennis will be the next big name in Boxing!

I saw this kid 3n half years ago and since that time I been saying he will be the one to replace Floyd, I know I sound like a record but right now he destroys Spence, Crawford and Ugas, Charlo and Canelo, yeah I said it this kid beats them all he is the most cerebral boxer right now. They ain’t ready for what he possesses, most fighters like Crawford train the other hand, and Crawford is an unbelievable switch hitter, but when I saw this kid he oscillates naturally between southpaw and orthodox, that’s a real problem cus as soon as you feel you have your opponents opening it changes as he is responding to you which means with such a fighter you will always be a step behind.
@@andylester8024 He's not going to ever fight Crawford & Spence...they have too much time in and will age out before Jaron ever gets a chance to fight them. He'll get a solid gatekeeper @ 47..but that's about it. 147 will be Jaron's for a very long time. Just not now.
@@phillyjoejones5161 It really doesn’t matter what Spence or Crawford does at this point, they’ll be running out of options…they’ll have to see him at 147 or 154…and Spence isn’t gonna fight Charlo, so that kinda handcuffs at 147 for a lil while. Regardless of what they choose to do I think Boots dominates the division moving forward…

@@wblake22 I do agree I would love to see how Boots handles adversity in the ring after getting hurt or knocked down. But after watching a few of Boots fights and having watched Thurman,Spence and Crawford fights.I personally think he is better at adjusting in the ring to other boxers styles.His training technique's and discipline outside of the ring is what sets him apart from other boxers and gives him that winning edge.Lets not forget about his pure athleticism.Boots is just as big as Spence and just as strong if not stronger.His mentality rite now is "No Days Off" Just my opinion rite now he beats Crawford and Spence we might not ever see these fights but my analysis is this kid is the real deal just saying he special.

A lot of the welterweights feel like that about Crawford, he a natural lightweight! Porter, Thurman Spence and boots started at 147, that’s the only weight they fought at, so they feel like they should have an advantage over Crawford! They know they are naturally bigger and stronger, the problem is, Crawford has Knocked out everyone he fought at 147🤣
@@lovemycity420 Bud isn't knocking out prime fighters at 147. He's catching them at gatekeeper status like Brook and Porter. The versions Bud fought weren't the same guys EJ fought.

@@bigjdm5460 we don't know that Lubin had just as much buzz as boots if not more. He was knocking everyone out that's how he got in position for the Charlo fight. Then we found out he wasn't ready. Boots is only 24 no reason to rush him I feel like he takes over after Spence moves up

There are levels in the sweet science. I need to see him chin checked first!!!! Everbody was saying the same thing about Lubin literally. Even pros were picking Lubin. Bud, Ward, Robert Garcia and Atlas all had Lubin for the upset. And what happened? Lubin was pop locking in the first round. Ennis is not ready for the likes of Spence, or Bud. A good test for ennis is Danny Garcia or mean machine, Ocampo or the likes of.
I agree that the thing we don’t know about Boots Ennis is what is going to happen if he gets hurt in a fight, can he bite down if it gets rough. But if he has the Grit to match his talent he will cause big problems for both Spence, Crawford, and anybody else in the division. As far as him fighting guys like Danny Garcia or mean machine, Ocampo...etc First those guys have to be willing to step into the ring with Ennis. Right now Ennis is a very high-risk Low-reward fight for those guys.
@@Breeze_b_hard Well for those guys it's not, they are not getting anymore huge payday fights without knocking off a young prospect and igniting their name again. Pbc needs to put some money up for Garicia vs Ennis. I think that's a good test for Ennis. He should be able to outbox Danny, but Garica is the perfect veteran to see if a prospect is really ready alas Khan (i know he was past prospect tag but he was overated and Garcia showed it).

Now I could see him maybe( strong maybe at that) beating Spence, but Crawford is a different monster, and that's no shade because I like Crawford's style, his boxing may be more complex for Boots than most give him credit for.
I agree to an extent I feel him and Crawford would be more of a chess match but him and Spence if Spence is still SPENCE, being a bombfest they’ll both wanna show each other right away who can stay more active w the jab and body work but Crawford is a different animal because he’ll take punishment just to read you out and figure you out and then dominate on the backend.

His punches would have much more power but his punches are more of a mush. He's very very fundamental and that's a good thing but it's well known that the way he punches from his high guard is hard to do with power. He's kind of stiff doesn't shift his weight from foot to foot well to make his punches more powerful
Spence doesn't have explosive power like dudes from the 80s or Sugar Ray Robinson. It's kind of slow and methodical
