KittenCritters Sure it would. We all know this guy is more gifted than most of us that watch him, and I am sure he could make the best out of whatever situation we may put him in.
Boe Smith You think too highly of his viewerbase. He's a streamer on Twitch, not primarily TH-cam videos. While us TH-cam commenters might want a good deck, keyword: might, his Twitch viewers will probably want something ridiculous, and honestly, watching a ridiculous deck live is all too tempting. It'd be like Twitch Plays Hearthstone or something like that.
TF2PNub Oh, I know. I watch him on twitch. Imagine if you gave Bruce Lee a noodle from a swimming pool -- I bet he could still find a way to kick our butts with it. ;)
Boe Smith He'd kick our butts with it by not using the noodle and just punching us with his very effective fists. Besides Kripp is far from the Bruce Lee of Hearthstone. Maybe the Jackie Chan of Hearthstone.
XxXZombi3XxX He was being sarcastic. I guess there's always a different level of stupid in these comments. The trolls, the trolls that pretend to not get the trolls, then there's the people that don't get anything.
It's surprising how often Neptulon gives strong hands like that, he's quickly become my new favorite legendary since the expansion. It's weird that he isn't seeing as much hype as cards like Sneed's Old Shredder or Dr. Boom, sure those are great too but you'd think more people would be excited about a war golem that creates four cards for you. The value is almost always high and there's less luck involved than with a shredder drop or bomb detonation.
The Message's Movies I like Sneed's but most opponents with any sense either ignore it, freeze it or silence it if they can. A 5/7 is much more innocuous than some of the legendaries that can pop out, such as Tirion. If you play Neptulon you're getting something out of it that can't be negated by a mere ironbeak owl. Although there are some times when your opponent will kill Sneeds right away. One time I got deathwing. GG.
AbduCola Eh, kinda. It isn't a weak class so much as there isn't a single clear netdeck for shaman right now that everyone can run so you tend to see a lot of weak homebrewed shamans. They got a huge boost in the expansion though, aside from Neptulon himself crackle, the windfury bot and the power mace are very strong cards, and hex has only gotten better with everyone running big deathrattle dudes like sky golems and sneed's. You might be right that the extra tinkering involved in getting a working deck could put off a lot of people, I hadn't considered that.
The Message's Movies Sneed's plus Baron Rivendare and Reincarnate/Ancestral Spirit is a lot of fun. More gimmicky than anything else but I'm not really into climbing the ladder anyway.
Entirely unrelated to this video, but I just thought of a nifty little flavourful pair of potential legendaries. Commander Mograine 5 mana 5/4 Deathrattle: "Draw High Inquisitor Whitemane from your deck." High Inquisitor Whitemane 5 mana 3/3 Divine Shield Battlecry: "If Commander Mograine died in this game, re-summon him." I realise that it's Darion, not Renault Mograine that most people want to see implemented in the game, but I think this works really well in terms of mimicking the boss fight, which is something Hearthstone has been quite clever about so far. And legendaries don't have to be the biggest and baddest guys from the annals of warcraft lore! Calling him "Commander" Mograine instead of Renault does rather conflict with the possibility of also having Darion in the game as well, but calling them Renault and Sally just doesn't sound legendary enough...! Any thoughts?
Jamie Stevenson To avoid the infinite cycle, the Battlecry for High Inquisitor Whitemane would have to instead read Battlecry: "If Commander Mograine died in this game, summon a Risen Commander Mograine". This could be the same card in all aspects except for it not having the Deathrattle
I'd assume Darion would be the Death Knight class hero, so having a different Mograine card wouldnt be too confusing for players who've played WoW, and the people who haven't probably won't be calling the Death Knight hero Mograine. I'd like to potentially see these as legendaries, having legendaries combo together is cool. (Stalag and Feugen is a really fun combo).
Nope, I watch that part too, because I want to hear his explanation about the different cards in the deck along with match ups whether I know of them or not. Its weird how so many people come on the comments and are just like "No talk, watch game."
"How many legendaries does this guy have" Hey that sounds like what most of non-300-dollar paying players have to say even on their way up to rank ...11
Mortalomena Yeah only if arena actually gave enough fucking gold, I got 6 wins the other day, and how much gold do I get? 80 fucking gold.... meanwhile Kripp gets 30 gold from his 0 win arena, nice one Blizz the difference between 0 wins and 6 wins is 50 fucking gold to you. Fucking bullshit.
FatalityKnife K well I don't think Blizzard somehow made their account gets better rewards.... or did they? Trump once get 3 Golds out of a pack that was given through a 2-3 score in arena. Hmmmmmmmm.
FatalityKnife Dude, just spend $2 on an arena ticket. Between quest gold and your winnings you should able to afford the next run for free, then just keep coasting on that by only spending gold on tickets and getting your packs from there. Maybe once a week you'll have a bad couple of runs and need to spend another two dollars to start it up again, or just wait a day or two for more quests. That's what I used to do and it was pretty easy to keep it going. Now that constructed is so much fun again I haven't bothered with arena but the strategy should still be valid since the changes.
It is pretty safe to say that a card advantage of 1 is worth about 2 mana (as you can see from innervate and hero powers), so in effect if you activate gazlow just once - regardless of the card you 'draw' - it is effectively a 4 mana 3-6 (but a 6/7 drop), which is pretty good. There is also the slim chance of it snowballing and winning games on its own.
I am a f2p and I pulled gazlowe last night. since I don't have undertaker I decided to put him in my zoomech deck with a mortal coil and I have already used him to get a sneed's old shredder, mekgineer thermiplugg, and in one game two blingtron 3000s back to back.
Hearthstone games aren't the most exiting games to watch. You watch it to learn from. And guess what? His talking helps learning about the game. Way more than a game could do.
I use Gazlowe in pretty much all of my Mech decks, you get some many Spare Parts that you might as well include him. Also it gives many of the common mech decks a card draw engine, something that most of them dont have.
I replace Loatheb with him in a Mage Aggro/rush deck and I get a crapton of spare parts with card like Clockwork goblin, mechanical yeti, tinkertown dude, etc. So good! I get often legendary
+Dendarang Not a good idea in competitive play. It's ok if you play for fun and don't care about losing a lot. But on ladder, you can't hold your spare parts for a turn 7+ Gazlowe combo. Mostly because Mech Mage is an aggro deck and what you're describing is a replenish mechanic where you slow down and then you speed up again. That never works in aggro. You have to use your spare parts for beneficial trades, tempo plays, pushing for damage or forcing a bad trade for your opponent with the taunt spare part. Mech Mage doesn't run Loatheb but it runs Antonidas for the spare parts combo. The same rules apply but in the case of Antonidas, every spare part that you can abstain from using is turned into 6 damage. Getting a _random_ mech that you have to play one turn later at the very least is just not beneficial enough.
so i just got gazlowe today and went ahead and played this deck, i dont have vol´jin so i subbed him for loatheb, works great since you will be getting alot of spare parts, loatheb plays extremely well with time rewinder. owned a druid for 3 rounds where he couldn´t combo
Tried the Priest deck in 10 games. It dominates aggro, as most Priest decks do, but I got utterly destroyed by Handlock. Lost one game each against a Quartermaster Paladin, a mech Shaman and a "regular" shrink Priest. So 50% score so far. It's a fun and strong deck. On the negative side: quite reactive and situational, lacks early pressure and few big threats, almost no burst (even less than fellow Priests with their scary 5-dmg Holy Fire). Few empty board plays and almost no defense. Trouble dealing with Silvana's and a few other legendaries. There's a lot on the pro side of course. Imo the Gazlowe-Priest idea has potential. Worth exploring some of the millions of variants ;)
I played it on druid. With mechanic bear cat and some other stuff like naturalize. It worked out very well. It's a nice card. Very high legendary drops rate.
wouldn't this card be good in a mech mage deck considering all the spareparts you usually get? In addition to having almost only mechs which synergises with the cards you get from Gazlowe?
Last game, if you had saved the 'swap hearth and attack'-spare part and played it with the pyro, you could have healed. if you did, the next turn, you would have be on 1. If you played pyro with spare part it was a clean and with your heal you would have won. Plz correct me if Im wrong. Keep up the good vids kripp! -SlimyJoeri
11:49 would it have been better to hit the yeti with the chugger, play the cleric and and heal Gazlowe? i'm not saying it's better than what kripp did; i'm legitimately asking
How do you get around with only one Shadow Madness in this deck? Whenever I build a priest (in the aggro meta) it seems 2x auto-include. Edit: With the strength against aggro that you claim and weakness against control, it seems that faceless could be a drop for bgh. But cancer is rampant so the control matchup isn't too much of a worrry
Wouldn't gazlowe and toshley make more sense in mage? You got antonidas for additional spare parts abuse as well as stuff like mana worms. Turning spare parts into fireballs or mechs is always nice.
Gazlowe was the first GvG leg I crafted and made a Priest deck around him not too dissimilar to Kripps. Priest isnt that great at utilising Gazlowe fully, what Krip is playing is basically a deck that would do just as well without Gazlowe in it. After priest I made a mech shaman deck with some 1 mana spells, yettis, tosh, clockwork gnome mech warper and power mace for mech synergy. This I found to make better use of Gazlowe since any mechs spawned would already fit into my mech oriented deck. Then I went Mage with low cost mechs and blastmage really aggressive with Gazlowe being the only late game card. Best results there, however anonidas would have been way better than gazlowe in the deck.. So fun experiment card but it wont make a deck it will drag it down if anything.
seen a few of your hearthstone vids and I have a question...do you ever play the game without clicking a thousand times all over the board? do what everyone else does and play with your fingers or bounce your leg
13:37 Wow, this is some major misplay. First heal without a cleric and than put it on board before the pyro deals damadge for it to have one less health.
Kripp, you should play Gazlowe, Toshley and Mimiron's Head together in your 30 legendary deck. Together with Blingtron, Sneed's and maybe Foe Reaper you actually have a bunch of mechs that can summon Voltron. Obviously it only works in a 30 legends vs. 30 legends match-up but it's sweet if you can pull it off. The only way to break up the combo is through attacking or some weird shit like Toshley into Rusty Horn into TBK. Or fucking Rend Blackhand. Calling you out right now. 30 legends vs. 30 legends. Best of 5. Loser has to disenchant a bunch of shit and then snort the dust.
Kripp, you should have a series where your viewers vote on a card'(s) that you must build a deck around. I think it would be fun to watch.
Everyone would just pick piece of shit Cards like magma rager or gnomeregan infantry so it wouldnt be that fun
KittenCritters Sure it would. We all know this guy is more gifted than most of us that watch him, and I am sure he could make the best out of whatever situation we may put him in.

Watching this in 2024. I would bet my soul 97.5% of the player base don’t remember or know this card, but I’m an old fuck, and I do!
When ever i watch Kripps videos first thing i do is read comments in search for time that helps me skip initial boring talk. Chillaxe bro.
What you consider boring most people with more than 7 IQ consider what is called "informative". Hope I didn't just melt your mind.
Funny, I watch the initial talk and skip the gameplay.
DropWhore Exactly, but only if you are the IQ bracket 7-30 above that its just boring.
DropWhore I am sorry for you.Being butt hurt and all.
DropWhore He didn't say it was boring bro , some people just don't need to be informed about a game they might not play
"keep it quick kid. I aint got all day." 37 minute video
Krip I love that you speak about the card before you show us the games. You are my favorite YT :D
He's playing priest; you know the video must be old...
Gadgetzan took a sharp turn with priest, fortunately.
miracle priest, bois
Well that Neptulon value was amazing so I guess Gazlowe had to balance out the good RNG with garbage mechs.
It's surprising how often Neptulon gives strong hands like that, he's quickly become my new favorite legendary since the expansion. "How many legendaries does this guy have"
Hey that sounds like what most of non-300-dollar paying players have to say even on their way up to rank ...11
Basically. Played against a top tier Warrior deck yesterday when I was at around Rank 20. Gold Rag, Gold Alex, Shyvannas, you know, those decks.
Or, dont be baddie and get 5+ packs daily, for free thru arena. I used to do that but cba to play that much anymore.
Fucking bullshit.

at 23:32 why didnt you swing with nept before returning it to your hand?
At 23:34, why didn't kripp attack face with neptulon before returning it to his hand? Did I miss something obvious? Lol

Gets Neptulon while his opponent gets Baron Rivendare.
"What?! Are you kidding me?! Am I just like the most unluckiest guy on this game?!"
So Kripp realized the power of Neptulon-sama.
Dam that last game was close u almost won that control deck
that salt at the end, priceless.
tht second game was insane, loved it man
27:00 I think you should've used auchenai there
I'm surprised you didn't include Mech Warper in the deck, it synergise with everything
hey Kripp, shouldn't you mention that Mimiron's Head could be used for synergy??
not gonna lie, that second game I've seen some nice plays
First golden legendary was gazlowe... Just looking for a way to use him in a deck
Correct me if im missing something? But didnt he miss 7 dmg because he didnt attack before time rewinding?
I like watching Kripp talk. Very informative and he is also a very talented and confident speaker..... haters...
What are good replacements for toshley, faceless and voljin?
Tried the Priest deck in 10 games. It dominates aggro, as most Priest decks do, but I got utterly destroyed by Handlock. Lost one game each against a Quartermaster Paladin, a mech Shaman and a "regular" shrink Priest. So 50% score so far.
It's a fun and strong deck. Few empty board plays and almost no defense. Trouble dealing with Silvana's and a few other legendaries. There's a lot on the pro side of course.
Imo the Gazlowe-Priest idea has potential. Worth exploring some of the millions of variants ;)
Kripparrian Did you consider gaz paly? If so, why choose priest over that?
Kripp how do you feel about this being run in a paladin deck/spare part deck? I run it and it works really well in my opinion.
my sides at the double flying machine
You miss-spelled "gazlowe" in the deck name.
Put together a mechmage list using gazlowe and toshley as support for archmage, went up 7 ranks so far
29:40 why didn't he switch health with the Senjin?
Because the Senjin's 3 attack wouldn't have killed the Ancient.
I played it on druid. With mechanic bear cat and some other stuff like naturalize. It worked out very well. It's a nice card. Very high legendary drops rate.
I just unboxed a golden glazlowe should I DE to craft a ragnaros or something?
When are you getting your videos in 1080p?
That sound quality :D The good ol' days~
that last match was super nice
wouldn't this card be good in a mech mage deck considering all the spareparts you usually get? In addition to having almost only mechs which synergises with the cards you get from Gazlowe?
well that was quite a game. holy shit that double flying machine though. tough luck.
i dont have Toshley! what you recommend !?!??! Plz Kripp answer :D
Last game, if you had saved the 'swap hearth and attack'-spare part and played it with the pyro, you could have healed. if you did, the next turn, you would have be on 1. If a Mage has the reduce all spells by 1 mana card and plays a 2 mana spell, does it proc gazlowe?
its awesome to turn on subtitles and see how off they are

You were so dirty lucky in that last match Kripp. Fun game to watch though.

Kripp, if the deck is about getting card advantage with gazlowe, why not Mind Vision? More free cards, combo with Gazlowe, insane value!
"L'carpetron Kripparrian, I love the cards so much I wanna marry 'em"
Kripp should really try this deck again but with some Old gods cards :)
**Spoiler Warning**
27:43, when he gets the double flying machine made me literally laugh out loud. Trolden next
why didn't you use mind vision? it's essentially a 1 mana draw a card. great for gazlowe.
didnt some guy on stream say inb4 How good is gazlowe youtube video (kripp read it on stream)
This last Druid was a 100% ghosting
Im not even english and dont really know what he's saying on the start but i like when hes talking about this cards and later when he play :)
Thank you, I appreciate it :D
I enjoy the talking, I enjoy the explanation.
How do you get gold mech parts O_o
He has the golden versions of the cards that give you spare parts
seen a few of your hearthstone vids and I have a question...do you ever play the game without clicking a thousand times all over the board? do what everyone else does and play with your fingers or bounce your leg
I was beginning to think I was the only one to notice that. I know it's just a little thing but the constant clicking is really annoying
13:37 Wow, this is some major misplay. First heal without a cleric and than put it on board before the pyro deals damadge for it to have one less health.
Myon Youmu no, the second was not misplay, he did it so he could have an option to heal it for another card.
Myon Youmu i c wut u did there
Christian Conway He could have heal it next turn with it being 3 health, piro would still damadge it before the cast
Myon Youmu
"God i hate that shit" on Dr Boom. With a Dr Boom in hand.
Kripp try not to listen to your cancer comment section, your content is first class in terms of hearthstone on youtube, keep it up man!
Can I replace Toshley and Vol'Jin :(? If yes, for what?
The amount of legendaries in this game is too damn high!
Wouldn't it work better to run him in Mech Shaman, with like Earth Shock, Bolt, Rockbiter and a bunch of spare part generators?
I love your pre-game analysis Kripp! Fuck the haters I learn a lot from you!!!
wouldn't mech bear cat work better??
hahahah i cried when he got the two flying machines xDDDD
IS THAT A SNOWCHUGGER SHIRT? WHERE GET???
Kripp, you should play Gazlowe, Toshley and Mimiron's Head together in your 30 legendary deck. Together with Blingtron, Sneed's and maybe Foe Reaper you actually have a bunch of mechs that can summon Voltron. Obviously it only works in a 30 legends vs. 30 legends match-up but it's sweet if you can pull it off. The only way to break up the combo is through attacking or some weird shit like Toshley into Rusty Horn into TBK. Or fucking Rend Blackhand.
Calling you out right now. 30 legends vs. 30 legends. Best of 5. Loser has to disenchant a bunch of shit and then snort the dust.
gonny try the card
Ive always said cars lie to us, but motorcycles tell the truth
i just love the sounds of alextrasa and druid of the claw... where shall i stri *pukes*
I run a mech rogue aggro with gaz in it and I have no problems with him. Don't need him for winning but when I can summon it I can get nice advantage
