Thank you, sweet Sarah, for reminding us how intimate it is to dance before the Lord. This is the most beautiful dance I've seen in a long time. As I was watching this the Lord kept showing me how pleased He is with you, how hard you worked on this, and how beautiful your heart is before Him. He loves you so so much and it is clear how much you love Him! Like the woman who washed His feet is your admiration for Him. You are absolutely precious in His sight!
All the comments below criticizing you, that just makes me really really sad. You know? But I felt it, the dance, every move, and that's the purpose of why we dance. We, as dancers, would always have a struggle because sometimes flesh and body are taken as one, but my desire for you is that you keep preparing yourself in this is that you can touch many hearts to the point that they want to know God more. i am angry at these comments. This young lady dances for the Lord and you uptight people are judging her clothes??? Shes really dancing for God and not you anyways. I am a dancer and we usually wear much less clothes. She tried her best to be decent and you guys wanna be super religious about it. Her dance was beautiful. Good job young lady

Nora Marginean I understand both arguments, and am not necessarily agreeing nor disagreeing with the dancer's choice in clothing. Just that what's done is done and arguing is not doing anything edifying. The dance was unto the Lord and was beautiful. The dress was beautiful, although it could be an offense or stumbling block to someone weaker in the faith. And going forward, it can be decided that changes be made or not be made if the young lady so chooses to do something like this again in the future. An option being also wearing a matching color of shorts under the dress. Or a dress with a longer skirt. Or a top with flowy pants to give the appearance of a skirt. But either way, it is a beautiful dance for the Lord Jesus Christ and He is the judge, and has the only opinion that truly matters.

Actually, her tights ARE supposed to be worn under the leotard not over and I think her costume is fine. It's a ballet dress. She dances very beautiful and she does it for HIS glory!! Keep the good work up!

Cultura. Aqui no Brasil, tem igrejas que usar calça jeans é pecado. Já em outros países existe até mesmo uma cultura em que as mulheres andam de saia longa e os seios à mostra, e isso para eles é normal, ninguém se escandaliza. A vestimenta é uma construção social, não divina. Porém, se eu sei que em meu país a cultura não é essa, eu não irei ao templo dançar com uma roupa que fará os demais membros de escandalizarem. Mas, no caso dela, e de sua igreja, não acho que tenham se escandalizado nem estranhado a roupa.

A ministração em si ficou linda! Mas como ministra de dança que já fui, considero que expôs demais o corpo... o vestido em si não é o problema, mas não ter usado nada por baixo é... poderia ter colocado um shortinho estilo Balonê que e folgadinho e não marcaria o corpo quando ela girasse. Ao falarem lembrem-se que Brasil e outros países têm culturas diferentes, no Brasil tudo é sensualizado até mesmo porque as mulheres daqui sempre tem as pernas grossas,o quadril largo e tudo mais, por isso eu acho que depende muito, não posso falar se não sei pra que tipo de público ela estava dançando até pq no vídeo não mostra, não achei que está indecente, nem sensual ao ponto de tantas críticas, acho que as pessoas que se escandalizaram por aqui ser diferente ! Isso não defini a adoração dela, existem muitas ministras de dança que só faltam dançar de burca mais a sensualidade ta dentro do coração, não adianta nada !
Hace 20 años que hago danza en la iglesia, y lamentablemente puedo notar que en este tiempo las mujeres que danzan no muestran el mensaje principal de la adoración, para nada sus ademanes y movimientos me entregan el mensaje de Dios, en cambio hacen ballet para mostrar a la gente la habilidad que tienen y pues es triste ver lo que esta sucediendo en las iglesias. Queridos Pastores, atentos a lo que permiten en sus iglesias.

Beautiful, Feet and lines are very pretty. As a dancer, i understand it takes a lot of courage to get up and dance for people, when it is for a reason as personal as a love response to Jesus. It is so easy to feel all the doubts and misconceptions about God's love for you pressing on your mind trying to keep you from believing Jesus loves you unconditionally and irrevocably, no strings attached. We dance for an audience of One. Forgive harsh words in exchange for remembering Jesus's gentle ones towards you. All this being said i wouldn't change the costume for people but because you believe Jesus loves you and this is your love response. Our love for Him is made known by our love for eachother. Whenever i dance for church my dance director has us just avoid criticism, judgmental people, or brothers or sister who may be struggling with something by having us wear micros over our tights or making our straps thicker. I know this is from like three years ago but I just wanted to encourage you to keep dancing and don't be afraid to be confident and strong! :) Also, my director choreographed a beautiful dance for church a while ago that might encourage you, wherever you are in life. :) You can just look up "lifehouse everything dance new hope", it should be the first one up there.

Beautiful dance, i understand that the Lord knows your passion for him, but you have to know my beautiful sis that in church we got spiritual beings carrying their flesh with them, they could be holy but they could get in their flesh moment, and seeing that costume don't allow them to grow spiritually, if you want them to concentrate in worship instead of seeing your body, choose a proper dress that doesn't show nothing but your passion for Jesus, I'm a dancer too, loved your dance except in those times I was disturb watching some body parts wich I didn't want to see them. Not wanting to be a hater, because the lord says to say things that are only going to help your ministry... Dance is not a show to put on... its showing your emotions to ONLY God!...not to the people. Its not about choreography, it's for the lord and it comes out of your heart. For you to express yourself to the almighty father. me giving a TIP to HELP YOU... don't follow steps for a solo let the lord guide your dance moves... thank you and blessings over your ministry
When u sing do u not use lyrics? Dance steps are like lyrics and whether or not it was practiced and choreographed it is still an offering to God. So if ur thinking that way why not tell ur praise team or choir to make up the song lyrics as they go as a matter of fact you probably shouldn't use a hymnal coz that has been around and sung many times.

Sacred dance is to dance for The Lord I agree but its also to inspire other people to worship and to live their lives differently after they watch it. God sees the hard work she put In and He knows her heart!!

You shouldn't hide GOD'S talents he gives each one of us, and we DEFINATELY should not bury or hide them, as the Word says, but share them with each other in worshipping our Holy Savior, Jesus.
She is a great dancer and her choreography is beautiful and free. But her garment is appropriate for concert dance or a competition where the judges need to see form and technique. In a house of worship more clothing needs to be worn because you are not drawing attention to yourself but to God. Not jealous or throwing shade, just saying.

this choreography is stunning !!! as a constructive critic, i would say that this attire is not appropriate to dance at church on the altar. It shows all your body, even your intimacy (bottom specially), at each of your steps. Please don't allow people (mostly man and youth) to get distracted by your garment when you praise dance at church otherwise r you won't minister to them and your dance will be just like a show. May God give you wisdom when you choose your garments.

Judge not lest ye be judged... Do you feel righteous because you wear "holy" clothes? Jesus criticized the pharisees for "long" robes. All He wants is your heart. This girl of God is trying to be beautiful for others, for God, and she's trying to express her beautiful heart. Why not appreciate it? Jeremy B no my brother she’s not judging her, she’s simply pointing out that as there’s people who are totally comfortable with what she’s wearing there’s people in her church and in the internet with struggles. I know God sees the heart and not what you’re wearing, but that doesn’t mean you should take it lightly. As a dancer in the ministry there’s specific attire to dance in the ministry. It’s a beautiful dance, her way of dressing IS distracting to the eye, and that’s what as dancers we don’t want. We’re supposed to transmit God’s presence to church, but we can’t do that if the church is being distracted by the way she’s dressed. We’re just trying for her and her pastors to understand that, we don’t know what’s going on in people’s mind, let’s not give them more to think of. That’s what we’re all trying to say, we’re not criticizing, just from one brother in Christ to the other trying help each other out.
Ella esta adorando a Jesus, en su danza se ve como ella le lanza besos con sus manos al Señor, su danza me parece como si ella estiviera hablando con Dios y yo se que Jesus vio su esfuezo y la intencion de su corazon, lo que pasa que parece que nadie la acesoro con el vestuario, para las bailarinas profesionales ese tipo de ropa es normal, ella no creyo que estaba ofenfiendo a nadie porque en el ballet no hay ede morbo con los vestuarios,aunque alguien debio decirle antes de subir, pero yo se que el Señor Jesus nuestro Jesus sabe que ella no sabia y solo queria adorarlo y recibio esa adoracion, Dios mira la intencion del corazon yo se que para una proxima ella se vestira mas adecuado para danzarle a su Jesus nuestro Señor Jesus. No la juzguen se ve que no sabia lo del tipo de ropa para danzar en la iglesia. Ojala y esto no la haga retroceder se nota que es nueva creyente. okay.. your ballet and lyrical talent is amazing your lines are stunning i apploud you on your dancers form. but you have to realize when dancers clothes are not appropriate. i dance so i understasnd why you chose this outfit to dance this song in but you need DARK tights and they need to be worn OVER your leo not under. i know as dancers we dont do it that way but as ministers of dance we have to flee from all appearances of evil. i dont blame you though your pastor should have corrected you or your mother before you went on stage your young but they know better.. I lead worship dance and have for 20 years. For ballet this is considered modest due to the longer skirt, but in worship dance we cover more to honor God and our brothers and sisters. Modest dressing is in the Bible Old and New Testament, and there are beautiful costumes for sale in dance catalogs much like this but have sleeves and flowing palazzo pants that match. Some wear leggings and that works also. It's a growing process. In Titus it says for the more mature to teach the younger. We need to teach not criticize. This young woman is extremely talented and it is evident that she loves the Lord. Let us not discourage her by being critical of her dress but instructive instead. Beautiful, just beautiful!!! Fue más un baile que una danza espontánea, como danzarina del altar debes ministrar, y la verdad no transmite nada más que belleza, y ni su belleza pudo, no tiene expresión facial, estuvo seria todo el tiempo, pero si debo admitir que sus movimientos son hermosos, es obvio que practica ballet, es mi opinión. I don't think 'crotch shots' are very holy. In the dances you see me doing on my own TH-cam channel (which were done along time ago) I never bare my crotch, yet still it ended up being perceived as very sensual. The church has a lot of self-examination to do when it comes to this issue.

As I was watching this the Lord kept showing me how pleased He is with you, how hard you worked on this, and how beautiful your heart is before Him. I understand both arguments, and am not necessarily agreeing nor disagreeing with the dancer's choice in clothing. Just that what's done is done and arguing is not doing anything edifying. The dance was unto the Lord and was beautiful. The dress was beautiful, although it could be an offense or stumbling block to someone weaker in the faith. And going forward, it can be decided that changes be made or not be made if the young lady so chooses to do something like this again in the future. An option being also wearing a matching color of shorts under the dress. Or a dress with a longer skirt. Or a top with flowy pants to give the appearance of a skirt. But either way, it is a beautiful dance for the Lord Jesus Christ and He is the judge, and has the only opinion that truly matters.

Cultura. Aqui no Brasil, tem igrejas que usar calça jeans é pecado. Já em outros países existe até mesmo uma cultura em que as mulheres andam de saia longa e os seios à mostra, e isso para eles é normal, ninguém se escandaliza. A vestimenta é uma construção social, não divina.
Porém, se eu sei que em meu país a cultura não é essa, eu não irei ao templo dançar com uma roupa que fará os demais membros de escandalizarem. Mas, no caso dela, e de sua igreja, não acho que tenham se escandalizado nem estranhado a roupa.

A ministração em si ficou linda! Mas como ministra de dança que já fui, considero que expôs demais o corpo... o vestido em si não é o problema, mas não ter usado nada por baixo é... poderia ter colocado um shortinho estilo Balonê que e folgadinho e não marcaria o corpo quando ela girasse. Não se trata de uma dança secular mas de uma adoração ao Senhor... e a palavra diz que o devemos adorar em santidade... se visto u ma roupa ousada e subo no altar para ministrar, automaticamente posso estar fazendo um irmão pecar. Até mesmo o Pastor... porque é homem como outro qualquer. Enfim... minha humilde e sincera opinião.

Hace 20 años que hago danza en la iglesia, y lamentablemente puedo notar que en este tiempo las mujeres que danzan no muestran el mensaje principal de la adoración, para nada sus ademanes y movimientos me entregan el mensaje de Dios, en cambio hacen ballet para mostrar a la gente la habilidad que tienen y pues es triste ver lo que esta sucediendo en las iglesias. Queridos Pastores, atentos a lo que permiten en sus iglesias.

She's just trying to be pretty, and maybe she could use building up in these comments instead of everyone tearing her down. Every denomination has a different standard, and one isn't better than another. Only Jesus righteousness covers all us sinners. Feet and lines are very pretty. As a dancer, i understand it takes a lot of courage to get up and dance for people, when it is for a reason as personal as a love response to Jesus. It is so easy to feel all the doubts and misconceptions about God's love for you pressing on your mind trying to keep you from believing Jesus loves you unconditionally and irrevocably, no strings attached. We dance for an audience of One. Forgive harsh words in exchange for remembering Jesus's gentle ones towards you. All this being said i wouldn't change the costume for people but because you believe Jesus loves you and this is your love response. Our love for Him is made known by our love for eachother. Whenever i dance for church my dance director has us just avoid criticism, judgmental people, or brothers or sister who may be struggling with something by having us wear micros over our tights or making our straps thicker. I know this is from like three years ago but I just wanted to encourage you to keep dancing and don't be afraid to be confident and strong! :)
Also, my director choreographed a beautiful dance for church a while ago that might encourage you, wherever you are in life. :)

Beautiful dance, i understand that the Lord knows your passion for him, but you have to know my beautiful sis that in church we got spiritual beings carrying their flesh with them, they could be holy but they could get in their flesh moment, and seeing that costume don't allow them to grow spiritually, if you want them to concentrate in worship instead of seeing your body, choose a proper dress that doesn't show nothing but your passion for Jesus, I'm a dancer too, loved your dance except in those times I was disturb watching some body parts wich I didn't want to see them. When u sing do u not use lyrics? Dance steps are like lyrics and whether or not it was practiced and choreographed it is still an offering to God. So if ur thinking that way why not tell ur praise team or choir to make up the song lyrics as they go as a matter of fact you probably shouldn't use a hymnal coz that has been around and sung many times.

You shouldn't hide GOD'S talents he gives each one of us, and we DEFINATELY should not bury or hide them, as the Word says, but share them with each other in worshipping our Holy Savior, Jesus.
She is a great dancer and her choreography is beautiful and free. But her garment is appropriate for concert dance or a competition where the judges need to see form and technique. In a house of worship more clothing needs to be worn because you are not drawing attention to yourself but to God. Not jealous or throwing shade, just saying.

this choreography is stunning !!! as a constructive critic, i would say that this attire is not appropriate to dance at church on the altar. It shows all your body, even your intimacy (bottom specially), at each of your steps. Please don't allow people (mostly man and youth) to get distracted by your garment when you praise dance at church otherwise r you won't minister to them and your dance will be just like a show.

God calls wearing that which pertains (is similar) to what a man wears, an abomination (Deut 22:5), yet women wear pants, go to the restroom with the skirt... and criticize a beautiful dancer, (covered by the righteousness of God). Judge not lest ye be judged... Do you feel righteous because you wear "holy" clothes? Jesus criticized the pharisees for "long" robes. All He wants is your heart. This girl of God is trying to be beautiful for others, for God, and she's trying to express her beautiful heart. Why not appreciate it? God bless her for being a beautiful flower for God in this ugly religious world...
Jeremy B no my brother she’s not judging her, she’s simply pointing out that as there’s people who are totally comfortable with what she’s wearing there’s people in her church and in the internet with struggles. I know God sees the heart and not what you’re wearing, but that doesn’t mean you should take it lightly. As a dancer in the ministry there’s specific attire to dance in the ministry. It’s a beautiful dance, her way of dressing IS distracting to the eye, and that’s what as dancers we don’t want. We’re supposed to transmit God’s presence to church, but we can’t do that if the church is being distracted by the way she’s dressed. We’re just trying for her and her pastors to understand that, we don’t know what’s going on in people’s mind, let’s not give them more to think of. That’s what we’re all trying to say, we’re not criticizing, just from one brother in Christ to the other trying help each other out.
Ella esta adorando a Jesus, en su danza se ve como ella le lanza besos con sus manos al Señor, su danza me parece como si ella estiviera hablando con Dios y yo se que Jesus vio su esfuezo y la intencion de su corazon, lo que pasa que parece que nadie la acesoro con el vestuario, para las bailarinas profesionales ese tipo de ropa es normal, ella no creyo que estaba ofenfiendo a nadie porque en el ballet no hay ede morbo con los vestuarios,aunque alguien debio decirle antes de subir, pero yo se que el Señor Jesus nuestro Jesus sabe que ella no sabia y solo queria adorarlo y recibio esa adoracion, Dios mira la intencion del corazon yo se que para una proxima ella se vestira mas adecuado para danzarle a su Jesus nuestro Señor Jesus. No la juzguen se ve que no sabia lo del tipo de ropa para danzar en la iglesia. Ojala y esto no la haga retroceder se nota que es nueva creyente. Ojala y muchas danzoras danzaran con el amor que se le ve a ella por su Jesus, nuestro Jesus. Eso no quiere decir que este de acuerdo con la ropa.

okay.. your ballet and lyrical talent is amazing your lines are stunning i apploud you on your dancers form. but you have to realize when dancers clothes are not appropriate. i dance so i understasnd why you chose this outfit to dance this song in but you need DARK tights and they need to be worn OVER your leo not under. i know as dancers we dont do it that way but as ministers of dance we have to flee from all appearances of evil. i dont blame you though your pastor should have corrected you or your mother before you went on stage your young but they know better.. God must be reverenced at all times.

I lead worship dance and have for 20 years. For ballet this is considered modest due to the longer skirt, but in worship dance we cover more to honor God and our brothers and sisters. Modest dressing is in the Bible Old and New Testament, and there are beautiful costumes for sale in dance catalogs much like this but have sleeves and flowing palazzo pants that match. Some wear leggings and that works also. It's a growing process.
In Titus it says for the more mature to teach the younger. We need to teach not criticize. This young woman is extremely talented and it is evident that she loves the Lord. Let us not discourage her by being critical of her dress but instructive instead.

Dios no la va a juzgar por su vestimenta, lamentable nuestros ojos sí, lo único que le critico constructivamente es que su danza me pareció muy actuada. Fue más un baile que una danza espontánea, como danzarina del altar debes ministrar, y la verdad no transmite nada más que belleza, y ni su belleza pudo, no tiene expresión facial, estuvo seria todo el tiempo, pero si debo admitir que sus movimientos son hermosos, es obvio que practica ballet, es mi opinión.

I don't think 'crotch shots' are very holy. In the dances you see me doing on my own TH-cam channel (which were done along time ago) I never bare my crotch, yet still it ended up being perceived as very sensual. The church has a lot of self-examination to do when it comes to this issue.
