James was one of my heroes in the 90s when I was a Liberty rat hanging out there all day for him and the crew to come in and go skate with us in the parking lot or kick down some wheels or a handful of stickers oooor a nug. Truly a great dude and awesome guy to look up to when I was a kid.
@@blindpro I always wondered what happened to Matt, Dave, and Shawn.I know Matt is probably doing well, haven't seen Dave since he went on his own and lost his shop. I hope Shawn is still shredding and cruisin "The Lizard." Haha Good dudes!
I'll never forget James Craigs giant floating stomped 360 flip over the hip on the 411 chaos section with the roots playing in the background!! boooomshanka!
same same 411vm #30 and #32 were on constant rotation any music from those brings me back (Jurassic 5-Concrete Schoolyard). saw him at brea skatepark as a kid and lost my shit but didn't bother him.
Fuzz yeah, when i first started really skating, I skated in brea alot, we would always seem him at the basketball ledges or liberty skateshop with Dany garcia.
James Craig ended his career on top! I think it’s unfortunate that he broke his arm on that 50/50, but he also put it all on the line. James I hope you are very proud of your career, I am.
👏👏👏👏He's the perfect agent after all he's been through. Blind couldn't even hook up a new acl when he was one of the most progressive skaters of the time. Talk about budget geez 😏
Gotta get that $ I mean look at what Kelvin Hoefler wears at contests…Carryuma hat, Cari tshirt, cari pants, cari shoes and probably socks too. So sad skaters have to do this type of stuff for their “living”
That’s because everyone on the show is “California nice.” Be nice and respectful to anyone who can get you clout (gifted hater) and be actually honest to everyone else.
You should do a collab with The Useless Wooden Knowledge trivia guys. They could add something to the experience episodes and the Nine Club is a solid platform to promote them. I will keep on commenting this until it happens.

Skateboarding is so clicky! Not fickle if your not apart of the cool club your career probably wont last long... i really find it hilarious they always beat around the bush when it comes to the industry/money/sponsors.
But at the same time core skateboarding started with clicks, but it’s when the main stream media and douche skaters try to make it a Versus competition. When clicks like dog town and other first clicks were all homies, and even skated with other clicks.

People made fun of him for only having like ten basic tricks and no switch game or something like that, That's why he could do them down anything. A similar skater of today would be someone like Vincent Milou or Milton Martinez, but people think they are incredible, so guess peoples perception of what a good skater is has changed and Josh was just ahead of his time :) 2001 I personally saw him try to ollie from the deck of a gigantic vert ramp into the steep ass bank bellow during a demo, remember that taildrop Kader did in the dime glory challenge, that's nothing compared to this, It's so ridiculous I was watching every try through my fingers, what's even more ridiculous is that that was like the first thing he did, just showed up and started doing that lol.
Thanks for all the inspiration and nostalgia in this episode . I'm very fortunate to be able to work at the sk8shop and give lessons.build the community and scene that's growing in this small town thanks to the shop and sk8ing becomming more more popular. James Craig talking the business is awesome
Used to see James at Liberty Boardshop in Brea all the time back in the day. All those guys had a great impact on me as a young skater. Super chill.
Appreciate the love Chad!
James Craig 411 part was so sick back in the day. Watched that shit all the time before skating.

James can come on the experience if he eats the chip!!! Lol
You can talk to other non skate podcasts about how to grow your brand/podcast. Its the same business formula just different content.
