- i started this back in march and slowly made my way through and its finally done! i couldnt be more proud of the result

I feel like a lot of people pass by the fact that Glory was probably a little hurt by the fact that Clay mentioned the idea of Peril being the skywing they needed but pretended not to be, there’s probably a lot that she’s holding in.
tbf they do go over it literally the next morning and get the whole thing cleared up
I still think it would stick with her a bit
I think the strangest thing about Glory is that she isn’t cruel to Peril, more indifferent, although her out of all the dragonets in her friend group, should be the one to hate Peril.

YESSS i hate her character constantly being reduced to her sarcasm. it actually led to me kind of hating her character until i looked deeper. the girl was forced to rule 2 tribes who hate each other while shes an actual child 😭 theres a reason sunny gave the eye of onyx to thorn instead of keeping it herself
@@doodleedooSERIOUSLY SAME. I never liked Glory because everyone acted like her trauma didn’t exist. Like she was abused? Her whole childhood? Her only “maternal” figure tried to kill her? There’s so much more to her than her humor. In fact, the only reason she HAS humor is because of all the layers to her character. Glad someone agrees!

Ur style is literally so good, I love this animation even though it was short and the song fits so well! All the glory haters just see a sarcastic queen but they don’t acknowledge how she actually has depth too.

I wish I was that good but I’m more better at drawing on paper
I love this so much. All the small details, especially the background. At first it’s pink, showing pink when glory is happy with her friends, but later it becomes green when she’s shown feeling left out. When she slowly gets angry and feels even more shoved aside, it becomes red. In the rainforest, the background is blue, showing she’s sad or uneasy. At the end, it fades back to white, as she still feels left out, the feeling she’s been feeling from the beginning.

Glory's trama is underrated, her gardians were going to let maroseer kill her!
Actually it was worse, I'm pretty sure *they* were going to kill her. Or atleast Kestrel was and she was happy to do so. One of the reasons I hate Kestrel and don't think she deserved the love people give her.

i feel like a lot of people looks past how much glory has gone through. lowkey i do think it’s a little disgusting when people call her a mary sue just because she became queen. like did we read the same book 😭? because she’s definitely more than just sarcastic. glory is like always going through it
also, irrelevant to what i was saying before, but i really adore your art style and also your design for glory! i was wondering if there is any deeper meaning to the scene with the birds and butterflies? that part really intrigued me!
