    How easy is it to add surface geology to an output like this, I know people may be able to do that in blender?

    Thanks for sharing this video. I would be thankful if you tell me how I can create legend based on elevation changes in this model and can we add this layer to arc gis ? Moreover could you elaborate more about the colors which you used in your final export.

      sima, if you click the export button it will export the new version of the DEM but you get it as a raster file, not a 3D layer. if you can import .ply files in ArcGis then you can use it there for sure. I'll try to make a tutorial on how to use ply files in Qgis . Regarding the colors play around with the sky color and the angle of the sun at you will get some good results , you can spice it up a bit with some fog
