sima, if you click the export button it will export the new version of the DEM but you get it as a raster file, not a 3D layer. if you can import .ply files in ArcGis then you can use it there for sure. I'll try to make a tutorial on how to use ply files in Qgis . Regarding the colors play around with the sky color and the angle of the sun at you will get some good results , you can spice it up a bit with some fog
Is it just voxel maps or can they be 3d too?
