One thing I love about you is that you tell yourself you’re capable and then honor that insight by doing the things! And, YOU TELL OTHERS, with sincerity, that they are capable too and encourage them to do the things. I have, and I think others have too, gotten used to not giving heed to my own voice saying, “Jas you can do the things” but you remind me, both with your words and your example, not to do that mess anymore. I used to shy away from talking to camera too, but I found the more that I did it, the less scary it felt. You're doing great! I hope you continue to explore more places and spaces where you feel more comfy talking to camera. Also, none of us are perfect, and I am not seeking that out in the content that I consume nor in the the creatives I relate to,

I related so much with your discussion on overcoming perfectionist tendencies, letting yourself just be, just do the thing, and allow space for growth. It's so hard sometimes though! Enjoyed the vlog :)

What REALLY helps me stick through it is keeping North Stars in mind, people whose journeys I’ve either heard about from their own words or watched first hand (ie. the TH-camrs I’ve been following since 2020 who inspire me and have proved consistency and doing your best and just putting yourself out there can get you so so far. Also knowing that if and when I fall off course with that consistency, I can literally get back on track because I decided to. I filmed this vlog, my fifth, four weeks ago I believe and for several reasons just decided not to post it on my weekly Sunday schedule that I’d been so great about up until then. But then literally a few days ago I was like, you know what? I have the footage. So I looked through the footage and was like oh there’s some stuff I don’t hate lol and said let me edit and post this for my future self, who will be glad I did. And the TH-cam police didn’t say no you can’t you haven’t stuck to your weekly schedule. I just posted it and shared! Lastly I love thinking about things that are new or a bit intimidating or out of my comfort zones as little experiments, where there’s no failure because I’m literally doing the thing to texts hypothesis and to gather findings from the experience to see what, if anything, I want to apply to my life and how. But you know all this. I remember in high school how badly you wanted to pursue a music career and you did just that on your own over the past several years and it’s such an inspirational, kick ass feat!!! Hard is scared of YOU 🤣 love you 💓
