Fun match! Antispin is a lot harder than I had anticipated. It absorbs like 90% of the balls energy it feels like. I'm excited to learn it though.

      @@loganb4651 you're definitely learning quickly!

For now, if you're not sure about the spin, brush high and aim near the middle of their table, hop back and wait for the possible counter. Better a lower quality shot on the table than a complete miss!

Good match. It is just a matter of adapting faster and that comes with experience.
Like LP (as you probably already know), different anti rubbers will have different amounts of grip (or lack of...) which affects how much control over incoming spin. Try to use that to your advantage by making the ball coming back to you more predictable.
In the first game, don't worry about winning so much as probing for information and weaknesses. Vary the amount of spin and pay extra attention to how much spin comes back. Look for exploitable player tendencies (i.e.: where they're standing, how good they are at transitioning between FH & BH, footwork, how they handle balls to their transition point, etc.). This is something I do in my matches unless I know the player well.
I didn't see anybody particularly aggregious... unless... was this match before or after the suggestion to change your service stance to left foot forward? I don't remember 😅
    Keep at it! 👍

Well, it should have been obvious, but I DIDN'T know anti spin rubbers were different! I know that Logan here has some sponge on his anti rubber side, and he let me know that with sponge on anti spin, it tends to deaden the ball a LOT more. I think I observed that it may have done that, but what I noticed more that the SPEED was much slower off his side of the paddle. I really needed to accelerate his dead shots.
Also, that's a great tactic about game #1 - I haven't done that yet, but it's a great point. I can tell people do that against me, and sometimes I go into the rest of the games super confident only to be demolished. (Sometimes they even just drill some things they're working on - )
And yeah, this one was, um, after the stance suggestion.

@@BenSucksAtPingPong another trick some anti (depending on how much grip their anti has) can pull off is that it is able to generate some spin if they can sink the ball into sponge. It won't be as spinny as inverted for sure but it'll be more than if the ball is blocked with just the topsheet
