This song touches me so much. My bestie surprised me with a BTS ticket to one of their Los Angeles shows, but I didn't have money for air fare. A group of my friends all pitched in and bought me a plane ticket. Best experience and best friends in the world. So humbling.
I've never been crazy for the Japanese versions of their Korean songs because they feel discordant after listening to the Korean lyrics. BUT I absolutely LOVE their original Japanese songs. They are often vocal heavy and have lots of strong harmonies and ad libs. Plus, as others have mentioned, Jin really shines in the original Japanese songs. He deserves that moment in the spotlight that he didn't always get in the beginning.

This is one of my favorite BTS MVs because of the little story it tells. It was also before the BU, so they hadn't gotten into the massive story telling and symbolism everywhere that their videos are nowadays. There's another MV for the song, as well, a "choreography" version. It's kind of like an upgraded dance practice or a stage performance with no audience. It lets you see how intricate the choreo is for this song and, personally, I enjoy it, but I prefer this one. The guys working so hard just to help JK is just so sweet

@@sugaspice05 Hi Carol. I had in mind when they said they're going on a chronological journey was of course they're looking thru the songs in each album. For You wasn't even in an official album too. And even though the MV came out later, Spine Breaker is one of those meaningful songs with a big message. They would've received a synopsis or recommendation on that. 🤷
Anyways, maybe For You is quite up on their alley, the music I mean. Compared to Spine Breaker which is a rap song, so all good 😉💜
