It means that this wasn’t really structured, it’s almost like improvising but not exactly. It’s just letting the spirit take over and let the music go wherever it wants and however long it wants to. Lyrics can be premade but they can change them whenever they want to or feel like signing a new set of lyrics out of nowhere
