1:49 Your not wrong, he is kinda Scandinavian. KBA is a well known looper from Denmark🇩🇰. His looping style is so unique. His best performance was at the 2021 loop station kickback battle, I recommend you react to his battle against Robin.

11:30 fun fact, he deleted his baseline by mistake, so he was panicking and made the baseline on spot. Fortunately it worked out, maybe even better. You would see the difference with the spotify version if you give a listen.
MK2 wasnt released when gb21 happened, but people that competed in the kickbackbattle (KBB) got the prototype for the mk2(Frosty also got it among others), rythmind also got it because he were a judge at the kbb. So yeah, my personal opinion is that they didnt really think trough how big of an advantage and difference there is on Mk1 and 2, so i hope that they will make 2 different loop categories for 1 device and 2 device, or either mk1 and 2. But Bizkit whon with the mk1 and no 2nd device at all, so if you're good enough anything is possible :D
Btw. U are totally correct with Brez vs Rythmind in terms of it was a controversial battle, a lot of fans think Brez won, and brez have bee nunlucky 2 years in a row by meeting strong contestors in his first battle. Also because of the fact that brez was insanely prepared and many good rounds prepared for every round(check out his channel where he put a video with every gbb round he would have done if we went trough), so its not totally wrong that u feel Brez won, many people have that feeling, and especially when Rythmind didnt really have much inane stuff prepared for the last rounds. But its always easy to say afterwards, its all a personal opinion and massive respect to the judges, it must be so insanely hard to judge when everyone are so talented :O
U already have them on the list, but because u mentioned them KBA is from Denmark so Scandinavian yeah and i would really reccommend u checking out the kbb and the whole competition as he have some insane rounds there, and good counters to the peoplehes facing. The same with Robin, he got a like a second revival because eventhough hes been in the scene a long time, he did such an amazing job at the kbb(where all of his rounds also were from, thats why the crowd knows them) so he got a low of new fans from there. And Matej have an insane wildcard that qualified him for the GBB, i reccomend watching the GBB 2021 loop wildcard winners, hes got an insane wildcard, eventhough Dice's wildcard "the code" is one of the best wildcard, if not loopstation rounds ever made. Sorry for my long post, it was just some context for everything, as always i love your videos man, u really hype me up :D i also reccomend checking out "Matej - Chasing stars" that was his gbb elim, the drop u heard from him that u loved, without all the mistakes that came in his live performance, its an mazing round as u can hear
i will for sure check everything up. and i agree on everything you said. not everything is perfect, but sooner or later brez will get his win.

The other guys like MateJ and Gasper Grom are not getting enough recognition because their elimination had some mistakes. Even KBA had that amazing drop but his elimination was full of off pitch and tempo issues, Gasper Grom had some sound issues and MateJ just seemed so nervous even though his "drop" could have been one of the best build up or start up of all time

It's up to the looper artists if they wanted an MK1 or MK2//1 device or 2 devices.
Idk about this but the reason why Rythmind wins is because of his 2nd round which is a classic rock and Rythmind is the first one who plays rock in the GBB.
Literally everyone would have asked for an MK2 when it's literally just better. Something tells me they ran out and weren't able to give Brez.
Like it would literally be the equivalent of turning down a PED when it's legal for everyone to use in sports. Why the hell would he choose not to use it?

@@Echanoooo the launchpad is basically for activating the helix in sequence, so technically there are only 2 devices creating the melodies. though I do think the addition of launchpad makes a similar advantage like mk1 vs mk2

Imo, although there is a possibility that Beatness sided Rythmind, but remember Saro was the one who gave Rythmind the last vote instead of making it a draw. So.. without Beatness, it will still be a 2v2 and either one of them could have won too. Anyways, its kinda sad that Brez can't move on to the next round, else the battles will definitely be more intense.

About Beatness being Rythmind sided I'm not sure bout that. Cuz every one play fair and everybody in beatbox community are family and close to each other. And other thing about taking sides Saro and Brez have been living together they were roommates and practicing looping, so Saro could have given it to Brez but he didn't
Sorry if I made it confusing, what I meant was even if we excluded Beatness, it would still be a 2v2, to find anyone else to vote, there still exist a possibility of 'siding' the winner.

well so as far as i know about rthymind and brez... the reason rythmind says that to get mk2 u need to win something once in ur life... is because when rythmind won the gbb he got the prototype as a prize and brez didnt. so rythmind was saying to have it u need to win too. so its a completely fair competition. its not like he ordered it explicitly. he got it because he won it. simple. if u brez reaction videos, most of the time he keeps explaining why he lost and how the other is to blame. just too much of a loser haha.
