Thanks sukesh. great video. i have scenario where my db is on azure sql db now (previously it was on-prem hence sql broker was supported, and i underdtood that azure sql db not support service broker functionality) so now my sql db which is on azure sql db need to send message to db table in Azure SQL VM. so in that case can i use this MSMQ functionality to send message data to destination table. i also saw that SSIS also have functionality for MSMQ connection so could it be possible with SSIS for my above scenario ? please correct me if i incorrect anywhere
The type or namespace name 'Messaging' does not exist in the namespace 'System' (are you missing an assembly reference?) this error was shown when i compiled your code online for both the applications... how do i resolve this??? reaply asap
Very niice, reason for having MSMQ well explained! Could you also post a demo on creating a windows service that will read the messages in MSMQ in an optimized way, since we can have large number of messages in queue? Also if Application2 breaks down after reading the message, the message won't be in the queue anymore and will be lost forever, how do we handle that? Thanks
