It makes me really happy to see others get to enjoy its beauty the way all of our family does every time we go to a cruise in on Madison St and to the many car shows we’ve been to in the past and hopefully will continue to go to. 🥰

I guess back in 1980 the original 389 was in pretty bad shape. And at the time they found a great deal on the 455. They are no longer in possession of the original 389. Again thanks for watching.

My brother had the same car. Red 66 GTO 389 Tri Power 4 speed. Bought it in 72 for $ 150

Was the original 389 not rebuildable ? A numbers match restoration would have been the way to add real value
