  • its so light i dont even feel it
i set fixed iso 100 and shutter to 1/60 and used a nd8
it seemed a bit dark when the sun wasnt there so i might just go with no nd after all

i like this better than the gopro. it seems to have an exposure lock so when you see the sky it doesnt blow it out. it looks great! i just now have to figure this out on the dji system 03!

ye i have fixed iso 100 and shutter 1/60 (double the framerate)
      and i used a nd8 filter
i dont know how you make the o3 look good but you kinda dont want motion blurr for flying i guess

@@bluefpv3263 i like seeing motion blur in video footage. i dont find that to be an issue. i just need get my settings down where the sky doesnt blow out on the footage. but the one and only time ive flown in my o3 i was more concerned with getting in the air and flying then having good footage. maybe this week ill figure it out. possibly throw on some nd filters too.
im also a amature photograpgher/ video guy, in order to get good looking footage. the rule of thumb ( as they call it) is low iso. and your shutter is double ( or as close to it as possible) your frame rate. as you stated thats always perfect.
how ever if you want less blur you need more frame rates. american cinema frame rates are like 23.99999 (or some fraction) so your doing it right! so for my 03 i need to look into that as well, exspecially when im flying my L.R when im done being scared of its size. its a 7 zoll. its size is intimidating me lol

@@WhiteTrashFPV ye 7 inch is really big
my copters get smaller and smaller somehow
i got a discus frame and i love to fly it
thats why i got the thumb in the first place
im at 240g with lipo and cam
      the copter is very quiet
perfect for some guerilla action :D

@@bluefpv3263 i dont know the laws there when it comes to quads, but 240 is just below the american wieght and sounds perfect but i kinda realized im not great at tricks and stuff so i think im better at crusing and what not. but also want to be able to combat wind and be able to fly for quite some time. but i also have realized i like my 3.5 flyfishrc frame. with the flight stack 03, and 3s 850 MAH battery its over 249

@@WhiteTrashFPV ye in the footage its nice but you dont want it while flying thats the struggle with the o3
but a 7inch should be able to carry a gopro or 2 anyway so i would suggest using a action cam for the footage
than you can have seperate settings and get the best of both worlds
which is why i fly hdzero cause its imo best for the actual flying and than i use a action cam for the footage
its cheaper (if you have several copters) and you are independent when it comes to the settings

All of my NDs seemed to be overkill on the thumb pro v2 even though it was plenty bright out for them. Weird. It was a good little camera, just dont expect it to be very robust in crashes. Had a pretty hard tumble with mine and it wont record or even connect to a computer anymore.

je i expected that it isnt very robust
well i just dont crash than :P

@@bluefpv3263 It was weird. The 3d print ripped off the quad and the balance plug I had powering the thumb became unplugged from the camera as it launched off. No damage to the camera, housing, or plugs at all though. I opened it up and everything internal was fine. Still have no clue what is wrong with it. But it is busted.

      @@EniokiFPV hm wierd indeed
i put in a 5v bec for the cam and soddered to a uart aswell i hope it survives for a while but i need to fix the cable management
today i was a little worried it might catch on a branch if i crash in a tree like i normally do at this spot ^^
