Would you like it if someone suggested that the only reason he got the job in the first place was because he was black? Both assertions are total nonsense! Stop the hate!
You guys gloss over a lot of coaching failures. Sure, Bill put this team together, but Mayo had an offseason and a draft to fix any problems he thought he had. He lead an undisciplined team with the most team penalties since 2009 (beat 2018 by 1), putting them T-10th worse in the league. He inherited a 7th ranked defense (in YPG) and when starting with the same players ended up with a 23rd ranked defense. Ohh and that defense had a much better offense, so just by virtue of not being on the field as much should have come close. Then lets get into all the coaching decisions with time outs, personnel packages, clock management. It's like he never thought any of that through before it happened. I love Mayo as a player and a linebacker coach, he was phenomenal, he was just in way over his head as a first time head coach. The Kraft's should have brought in a strong former head coach as a Offensive or Defensive coach to help mentor him in how to be a head coach. I feel like they let him down just as bad as Mayo let us fans down
Jerod Mayo wasn't the long term solution for the patriots. He was the quota.
Why do people consider playing for bad owners just to say they got a job.
The KRAFTS were pissed at MAYO for winning today. BEN JOHNSON is getting PAID like a head coach to stay in DETROIT.
Only Black coaches get this type of treatment....
@@demarcomyers4257 that’s a fact! They use us as an excuse for a failed season
They see the future with Maye - time to fire the Black coach
that’s stupid
That is stupid talk you don't watch football

DF, Wandale Robinson had 10 catches for *43* yards?
I know he's basically a slash, but that's ridiculous
Inherit a shitty team,
Inherit a dysfunctional locker room n have 1 season to turn it over
His victim hood mentality got him fired

The best thing for Woody Johnson is to suck up to BELICHICK. $10m to get out of UNC. ATLANTA media is talking about not hiring BELICHICK this year.
Mayo got fired while his teams won against the bills 3rd string backups funny even beating back up players couldn't save his job
Good now he can take the Bears
Why would you want mayo to get fired again
What's the percentage of Black coaches getting fired after 1 season compared to white coaches???
This is not about wins. This was about a guy who never even a coordinator. If you watched even a little, you can see he was in way over his head.
It was about wins craft didn't want him and his job hinged on how well they did at least be competitive and the Patriots wasnt
@ I disagree
Mayo was a DEI hire from the get go
