Just stumbled on your channel (ironically enough right after seeing you in the chat a bunch in a different youtube channel I found at the same time looking for Aeon's End content, Optimal Play), I'd love to see more of these character guides, the visual aids make them really easy to follow and digest

Hey, this is the type of video that this game deserves. Please keep them coming for more mages!

An optimization I just realized for the fourth opening outlined is that you can get an additional charge and all the benefits that I had previously outlined.
Turn one, buy 3 charges and discard your mystic orb last.
Turn 2, focus your breach and hold a crystal.
    Turn 3, open your breach.
Turn 4, you'll have 2 mystic orbs, 3 crystals, and 4 charges. Play 1 orb, ultimate, then play your second orb.
    Whoops. Oh well :P

Having a "wait with punching" mage as one of your favourite mages comes off as counter intuative to my idea of how you would like to play Aeon's End.

Ah, but with Nook I don’t have to buy a single gem. Between the ultimate and starting cards, I can just buy damage and relics that help deal damage.

That does make sense then! A very in the face move!
