Thanks for the heads up. Only Named Saves and Limited HUD are currently broken because of the new 2.01 update breaking their dependent script mods. Everything else works fine. Usually script mods update soon after a patch so check back later!
Red4ext, which almost every other mod is based on, is not updated yet. And reverting back to 2.0 id have to download 70gigs again. Lesson learned disable auto updates (:
Ive always thought a good immersive feature for cyberwear would be glitches. Vik says youll experience glitches while your body gets used to to but you never see em. Id like it if these were added. For example, say you install new optics, you experience maybe some colour glitches or you scanner going on briefly without you activating it. Additionally random jumps for legs, and random activation and locking of arm cyberwear. Obviously this would only last a couple of in game days or something. Not sure if i explained it properly but i think itd be cool.
I've been looking for 3-4 hours how to have a better experience in my 2nd journey in Cyberpunk, this is by far, the best video i've encounter considering the RedMod update, thanks a lot. Next time im going be looking for your videos directly

I'm still using almost 100 mods after 2.0. Unfortunately 2.01 broke most of the essential modding support mods (redscript, arhivexl, tweakxl, red4ex, etc) so I have to wait for them to update to play
@JO3KAH one of the essential mods (cet) already updated and the mod authors for the others should have their updates out soon. They usually take 1-3 days after a patch to update their mods. I'd wait another day or two. You can filter nexus mods page with a "date updated" option to check. Anything that lists red4ex, tweakxl, or redscript as a requirement I'd definitely wait on, but anything that doesn't will likely be fine.
I go with gameplay mods first. Enhanced scanner with no time dilation for much more of a challenge netrunning. Also Immersive Cybercity so you can hack random NPCs and are also forced to discern your quickhack targets. Limited HUD to get rid of the hand-holding, HUD-spamming icons and health bars on enemies. No enemy highlighting behind walls, etc. Also "tagging" is one of the most bullshit OP features ever put in a game lol. I don't use a mod to remove it. I just don't do it at all. Even on very hard netrunning is way OP in post 2.0 versions... If you want the ultimate challenge, try a no-cyberware/melee run with this new bullshit armor system. It's fun until you get to level 25 and every random Gonk can one-tap you.
Usually has to do with terms and conditions of licensed tools/libraries etc. Pretty sure that they don't like it either, but the legal department states that they have to anyway.

Lockdown killed my patience so sometimes I start a movie and the 1 minute of logos is long enough for me to be like I don't actually want to watch this. Yes it's skippable but easy to go too far, then finding the right spot takes just as long. If they put it at the beginning of starting a new game I think that should be enough. Not every time it loads
CDPR needs to optimize Dogtown, specially at the intersection. The FPS starts to drop and lagging. It’s embarrassing for CDPR to not catch this as FPS elseweyr in the base game is good.
I don't know exactly what's going on but it feels like a performance degrading bug that gets triggered by something in Dogtown. Like some specific event that changes the internal state permanently. After a restart it's fine again.

Off. All footage (unless specified in comparisons) is without any ray tracing. Rasterization after update 2.0 actually looks so good that i would recommend everyone to use it. In very few scenes, it even looks better than RT imo. So to me, it's path tracing or nothing, full graphic or performance.
I dont think you can because in dogtown, not only the number of npcs, it's also a lot of physics simulation that is extremely cpu intensive. If you're tech savy enough and dont mind playing the game on potato settings, you could try to dig up .ini tweaks and turn every effect off. I don't recommended this though.
For most mods. It's download, open the winrar folder, drag the folders (usually r6 and or archive) into the main Cyberpunk folder, and you're good to go. But yes, definitely follow the mod page descriptions. As many mods rely on others to work together well.
Limited hud is completely unnecessary in 2.0. People need to be wiping all mods for a while, stop encouraging them to download stuff that’s already in 2.0 now
A Dynamic HUD system is not available even after update 2.0. You can only turn on or off certain elements in the HUD, which is not what Limited HUD does (as I have gone through in the video). Play the game however you want, but please do not spread misinformation.

A warning. A new update for cp77 has been released so many mods that rely on scripts are broken. Don't update to 2.01 yet if you want to use mods.

2.01 has broken everything.
I go with gameplay mods first. Enhanced scanner with no time dilation for much more of a challenge netrunning. Depends on the build. I still haven't found an upgrade for my T5 Satara and frankly, it's unnecessary.
