I genuinely would NOT know how to feel acting with Trevor. He is such a truly great and believable actor. Some of the looks he gives here are terrifying, while others crack me up
I used to watch Trevor and Roger as Todd and I noticed differences in how they behaved but I just thought of Todd as this wildcard who just wants to protect his family but looking back now I just think there are things Todd would never do to his family that Victor does. Like throwing Starr down a flight of stairs. Or these digs at Starr about teenage motherhood. Starr is one of Todd's favorite people and he would never treat her like that.

This episode is so upsetting. Todd would never act this way toward his daughter, or toward Tea. This makes me hopeful that the rumors are true and that Roger is on the way.

victor was constantly physically hurting the kids and todd might have been a monster but that's the one thing he would never do. i of course don't blame tsj for any of the weird writing choices here but the problem with his performances todd is that he gave us all of the rage and abuse and manipulation without any of the soul and humor that rh had. it helped endear the audience of the character so that even though we could never forget the horrible things todd did, the audience rooted for him because he was so likable and charismatic at the same time. tsj's todd just comes off as a stoic douchebag.
I didn't grow up with watching Roger as Todd. But after watching old episodes, I don't understand how anyone thought Trevor, was the real Todd. On his own, I think Trevor is a good actor, who portrayed a solid villain. But he's nothing like the og Todd. He was way to intense, and would blow up out of nowhere. Roger as Todd, seemed much grounded in reality, he wasn't always yelling and screaming. Also, he had since of humor. Which Trevor lacked. All in all. I do like both Trevor and Roger as actors
