Then kept playing back my recording over and over trying to adjust my pitch with each subsequent recording. I finally gave up. I was depressed because as hard as I try to sing... I just have a terrible voice. I've always dreamed of singing at church. However, my voice is so bad, when I go to church, I just clap my hands and move my lips without actually letting any sound out. So, tonight after I gave up on singing and feeling sorry for myself for not being blessed with a nice voice, I got on TH-cam and typed in "Hosanna" and found your video. After hearing this video, I realized something... that God has blessed me. He blessed me because although I can't sing very good...I can hear very well. God blessed all of you with a beautiful voice and that blessing transcends audibly to the rest of the world and touches our spirits and touches our hearts. So, thank you for making this.
+3544S Hello, I just wanted to say that it really doesn't matter that your voice is "bad". My best friend in college was tone-deaf and always sung off key. And he was the same as you. He was so ashamed of his voice (growing up) that he never sung out too loud at church (or at all). But I have to say that as he began to work on that throughout college, and overcame that fear/insecurity through the power of Christ, he sung out from the depths of his soul. And when he sung aloud, right next to me, I was so blessed by his beautiful praise. I was sooooo blessed by him and his heart for the Lord. I could clearly see how much he loved the Lord and was worshiping Him in spirit and in truth. I saw that he was not bound by the countless negative thoughts that could have been flooding his mind at the moment and muting his praise for the Lord. So, lift up His name in praise and to Him be all the glory! =)
Do it for the Lord not for your self and he will guide and give you wisdom pray first and humble your self before him all things that you need will be added ☺️ God bless you
