I find this unfortunate to compare the new Kodiaq to the old 5008, as I was really looking forward to a comparison between the new Kodiaq and new 5008. Great video though.
Thank you! Yes, that would have been ideal but unfortunately the new 5008 isn't available in Ireland until late 2024. We will hopefully be able to review it then. 👍
I drove the 5008 when I was in Ireland this summer. It’s basically a 5 seater with 2 seats extra if you need it. I thought it was a solid car with a funky steering wheel.
The Audi Q7 has three Isofix in the middle row. There are some minivan options too like the Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Rifter and Opel Combo e-Life. We also have an article here on some good second-hand options: www.carsireland.ie/reviews/best-cars-3-child-seats-3-isofix-points
So close when you mentioned it being like a van with the seats down. Can I fit my 1.95m fishing rod holdall, can I collect a front door from the DIY store, can I take my old single bed to the tip....? What's the rear seats down measurements of both please?
Unfortunately, that's the norm we can expect for car prices moving forward. They're expected to get more and more expensive in the coming years. Doesn't surprise me at all the Kodiaq is considered that much.

Aren't most 7seaters like that
We're a family who really need the three isofix in a row. Are there any others that have this?

Close family, but not that close 😂

Thank you sooo much!
You're welcome!
73 Grand for a Skoda…. They’re fine cars these days but they are meant to be the budget option still aren’t they? How do families afford these cars??

Don't know anyone who would buy a French car after 2015y

Didnt know a Peugeot is pronounced pyujo in Ireland. In England its perjo. Wonder where they pronounce it Peugeot
Wrong side of steering wheel give me creeps
How can he say Peugeot is a "Better looking" option? Just how?
The nav on the Peugeot is horrible.
Really? Now we know that skoda is the sponsor here. NO THANKS!
