I like the bears and other 3D swatch items for jellies and glitters, but I prefer nails watching for opaque gels just because that way I can see the texture and the level of creaminess better. That's really difficult to tell when looking at it through the prismatic effect of the 3D bear. Thank you for the showcase and for also reading through the cards!

Evie, I am happy with the Bears. They are uniform in nature, unlike natural nails, so I think the Bear swatches are great. It also saves less wear and tear on your hands, but we always love seeing you do your nails when you want to. I’m just happy to see you. Thank you for asking.❤

I am OBSESSED with the cards! I have loved Pokemon since I was a kid in the 90s so the theme is perfect for me. If I were a nail tech this is definitely an invesment I'd make for the color selection and the cute displayable art. Also, I like the bears better for swatches. The flat back combined with the 3D bear front gives a better variety of how the swatches look on/under different surfaces and it's easier to see the color.
I've only gotten the black and white so far, but you are so right when you say these are PIGMENTED! I love that, and they still self level so well. Thank you for swatching them all, because I've been wanting to get more colors, and seeing swatches really helps me choose 🥰

Hear me out, I’m really not even an easily triggered type of person, I’m just like why did they have to choose a monkey to represent their brown shades??? Not a grizzly bear, a beaver, squirrel, a bird, a bison…they had options…why a monkey??
I mean they did use other animals including a grizzly like bear for the reddish brown but I can understand where you're coming from with how you feel. I don't believe they made that choice with ill intentions though. You have to remember that this is a Korean brand and monkeys are a very popular animal in Korean culture. For them, monkeys symbolize success and maternal love and in traditional Korean culture, monkeys are seen as clever, crafty and able too defeat evil. They are also the ninth animal in the East Asian Zodiac and they can act as a talisman to ward off evil spirits. They're extremely common too see in traditional art as well as other types of media. South Korea is also one of the world's most ethnically homogenous nations meaning they aren't really exposed to people that look different than them. Foreigners make up around less than 5% of their population with half of those people being Chinese (about 850,000 people), followed by Vietnamese (about 240,000 people), Thais (about 200,000 people), and Americans (about 160,000 people). I think it would be reasonable to assume that they would have no idea that using a monkey to represent the brown shade might be offensive to people of color as they really aren't exposed to people that are different than them all that much in their country. Girl I feel you , it’s currently 6:40am where I live and I’m trying to finish my nails. It’s been a terrible heat wave so even with the air conditioning it’s hella hot!!! So I have to do my nails at night bc the central air is broke and we have two portables and one window unit for my baby who’s pregnant with my grandbaby right now, because she needs it the most. Im only 41 by the way my daughters 23 though lol. My grandbaby is the size of a peach right now at 13 weeks!!! I’m so excited to be a grandma. It could be born around Christmas or probably early like his mom’s a preemie. She was my miracle baby at 3 lbs 5 oz. I had her at 7 mths 1 week to the day. 💜💜💜
