My Mother and Sister were both born in Coalville on the London Rd. I was born in Leicester. I now reside in Australia, a million miles away from Leicestershire. Thanks for bringing back memories.
Lived here when I was a boy back in 94 to 95. Went to All Saints Primary kindergarden (think it was called fours and fives) and primary 1 and half of p2. Its mostly little details I remember the most. Local supermarket was a Kwiksave and my there was a toy store just where the roundabout turns to the market. Think there was a puppetshow in the carpark behind the market on saturdays. Honestly, I remember it quite fondly.
Spent some time in Coalville many years ago. Many lovely people there. I remember them all with love... Beryl & Walter, Margaret & Derick and of course my Auntie Mamie and Uncle Sam. All are gone now but all are remembered. 🥰
Geoff toys back in my childhood star wars figures, also a lovely mans clothes shop, abd a decent record shop, i did my work experience at coalville travel 1989, when i should one of the ladys my vinyl i bought she was not impressed oh well, im still a big vinyl collector warm regards.
Please can you not comment stuff like this people are hear to watch this nice video and some are people immigrating into the UK 🇬🇧 It’s ok to have your say on Coalville but please be aware that other people may not be happy with the form of your comment Thank you
@@danielwortley2241 As one of the those immigrant I would have really have loved to seen this comment before hand so I could have avoided this town like the plague that it is. Look the shops and people are alright. But the entire town stinks like diesel from the Asphalt plant and a lot of the residence seem to think that exposing them selves and their families to lung cancer like this makes them some kind of tough martyrs who the country should thank rather then the masochist gammon that allow them selves to become literally stepping stones for industry to walk all over just so they can feel some kind of validation.
I am not from coalville but my grandparents are. The clock tower is just stunning, I always look forward to seeing it whenever I go.

Another great & fantastic video of Coalville Walk: Town Centre【4K】❤❤🧡🧡💛💛💚💚💙💙💜💜🤎🤎🖤🖤
Hey, thanks for stopping by!
Nice town walk.
Hey, thanks!
I'm from Coalville. Not much there but the people are lovely
Were those rails in the road at the beginning? The live line goes to Burton on Trent.. When will the railway come back to this important town?
A very good question. The level crossing in the town centre seems like a slap in the face!

Coalville in 4K? It's fucking shit - I can't wait to leave.
