Got to admire all of your effort and persistence Cleggy. Your detecting days are generally more 'real' or should I say that many of us can relate to hours devoted to digging up not much at all! But you make it so entertaining that it doesn't really matter what you uncover - it's always a good un.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It’s always great to know that my adventures resonate with others. The journey is just as important as the finds!
good you found something worth looking at and keeping. i would be thrilled with that fossil you found. but i know you are after an historic horde so i really wish you the best of luck Cleggy.
" Got me'self an'oard of bricks " ... Absolutley cracked me up🤣.. It's knackering just watching you dig bud !!.. Top bloke, loving your videos, keep them coming.. Cheeers 👍🤓
Hi Ckeggy here is a simple tip for your bike range. Instead of a whole new bike why not have a larger or extra batteries added to your bike. I added extra to mine and it really helps a lot.
Hi ya Cleggy . Hope your well mate . What a shame the file was corrupted on the on the day out with the new club , nice to hear you have found a club to go out on new adventures, I would have loved to have seen that mate 💯 , good move me thinks . Super 😊Well done sir
I often stop digging because the object is so deep in the ground I give up and move on. Dear Mr Clegg please go back to the object you passed up. I pass up objects that are to difficult to get to and I'm not doing that anymore.
The thing is about 5 feet away I dug another hole on a previous occasion and there was a large piece of metal that would not move, so I'm guessing the hole I dug this time round is the same large piece of metal. I would need a JCB to dig it up

Absolutely! Fossils like that really give us a glimpse into the past and are fascinating to study.

I'll have to remember and use that trick in my next upload

The piece of roman iron looks to me like a foot pedal off one of them old sewing machines or even a digger pedal roman one 😊

I heard that if you found oyster shells in a field it was a good sign that there was Roman activity in the area..
If you lived in east Yorkshire clegg no worries
We're the bricks used in a smelter or blacksmith forge fireplace? They could be loaded with melted ore.
Some type of stirrup???
You certainly are off 😅😅
Lot of effort no reward always next time 😊
True that!
I am wondering if anything has happened in Cleggy’s world? I’m not on Facebook so I may be uninformed - is there anything that could be shared here?
In need of a Fart Detector lol

Cleggy you use your electric bike on all your digs. Could you perhaps approach an electric bike manufacturer to send you a bike to review?
once i found a hoard... of lead
Take your CBT test and buy a scooter it would be cheaper than electric bike
