      ❤️❤️so wonderful to hear. I gave up on meditating at first. It wasn’t until my husband took me to an event that I realized how effective it could be and that I just need more practice. You don’t get it on the first try. It’s like learning to do something new, you need practice. Keep up the work, it is so worth it!

      @saltyseven your a hidden gem in an ocean of meditation videos.
      I can't thank you enough !
      Clarification quickly on first breath. Is it exhale with nose then inhale with mouth? 2nd breathe exercise do you squeeze the 3 energy centre?

    Wow! You are REALLY GOOD AT EXPLAINING THIS!!! I have been at this for months, and it has been life-changing, however, in just one sitting (with your video), I feel like I am experiencing something deeper and more profound. Thank you! It took me weeks of trying to understand this, not having been at at an event before, to even begin to imagine what this looks like. The past 3 months or so, I have been practicing this throughout the day, while at my desk, sometimes up to 16 hours or more, and it feels like I have done about 3000 sit-ups at the end of the day, when I am done. I am clearly moving energy, but the way you explain what it's like with the shaking and the light-headed feeling, gives me some new insight into my practice of the breath. I also just purchased "Breath" by James Nestor yesterday, so this is impeccable timing for me to run into your video and channel. Bravo! and thank you for being so animated and free to explain what your experience is with the breathing. What has shifted for me is being open to, in addition to a monumental amount of energy throughout the day is a beautiful glimpse of how much further I can take this into healing and more transformation. Learning the formula for the science of changed is SO EXCITING! We change the world with every moment we invest in this! Cheers! Keep sharing this! You are SO VALUABLE! @@saltyseven I've been doing the Inspire breath meditations, twice a day for about half an hour. Occassionally I combine them with the Wim Hoff style in and out breathing, as I find this wakes up the body and enhances the sensations of the movement of energy.
      I was wondering if you could share your perspective or further suggestions: At times, I find myself following Dr. Joe's guidance and locking up the spine with a lot of intensity - to the point that it feels like a workout. Is it good to go to such an extent? At other times, I feel a delicious pressure on the third eye as if from the inside out with very little contraction - even occasionally the perineum lock will do it. At times, I feel like I can really increase pressure on the pineal/3rd eye progressively and it feels really nice - is this what we are looking for? So far nothing the energy hasn't "popped" and wondering if I am doing this right, or if I should do the practices for longer.
      You know how Dr. Joe states that they can tell when someone is about to pop when they are measuring them? What does that look and feel like?
      Thanks so much for your valuable insights.

After about 5 breaths I did the deepest breath possible and when I let out my breath It all begun and I felt myself shake uncontrollably and had the sudden urge to cry…it just felt so beautiful like the deepest feeling of love..I don’t know how to explain it I’m not even sure I was supposed to feel all this but I’m eternally grateful to have learned it. I can't thank you enough for creating this excellent video. I have been doing the JD breath work by myself as I have not attended a live event yet so I had some questions. When doing the kundalini breathing, I have had the experiences of the shaking (not every time but often). When I saw you having the shaking, it confirmed for me that in fact this is what I am experiencing. I was never "worried" but more just wondering if this was it. One time, I had this feeling of the energy going up and this orgasmic feeling that went to my brain! It was one of the first times i did the BOTEC! I'd never felt anything like that before! I also wanted to mention that i think the last breath is about heart-brain coherence (as I have been practicing this breath 2xs a day to help regulate my nervous system which got greatly out of whack from severe stress through the past years). Its basically a 5:5:5:5 box breathing breath - basically what you were showing. Anyway, thanks for breaking down all these steps. It was very beneficial to confirm the actions I was taking! You've helped so much. I am committed to doing this work and healing/ transforming my body + life!!!

    I can not thank enough for this video. I did the progressive online and attended a week long event, read all his books and watched every single podcasts or videos of Dr. Joe but I couldn't get it done. He keeps explaining the breath with the same exact sentences. I was thinking yesterday I wish he could make an animated video showing what's going on inside the body when we squeez and how the breath rises up to head and tell hints on what to focus and what not to worry. I have seen his staff on the stage doing breath. It was amasing but at the same time very frustrating. I thought there is no way I can reach that level because I have been doing it for a year. Your video came just about time. Thank you so much. Now that I will do the breath with more confidence

    • @saltyseven
      @saltyseven  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I didn't hit the breath until 2 months after attending my first weeklong. I think seeing those people doing it on stage helped me realize I needed to put in more effort. Now when I'm at the event, I'm like those people on stage. At home I'm not quite like that. I think the energy in the room is so intense at the events, it helps fuel me more or something. Some people can get it right away, others it takes time. My husband still hasn't hit it yet, but I talk to people that hit it at their first event. Just keep practicing. Play around with it a bit. Another crazy suggestion is to get a chiropractic adjustment. I had never had one before and injured my back right before I went to Cancun. The first time we did the breath in Cancun, I hit the breath harder than I ever had! I was thinking I might have had a kink in my spine kind of like a hose and it allowed that fluid to flow better. Not sure if it was the adjustment or not.

    I was very curious how Dr. Joe's breath technique compares to the kriya yoga practices I was taught here in India.
    So I appreciate your detailed instructions, and especially appreciate that you included another two of Dr. Joe's breathing techniques at the end.
    Seeing the parallels to my own kriyas further motivates me to practice consistently. Thank you for sharing.

      I bet he probably studied different breathing exercises and created this one specifically to hit the pineal gland. It is similar to other breathing techniques I’ve done.

    • @rickhelvey1270

      Jayanthi, this is similar to part of shambhavi mahamudra (Isha). What is confusing is that if we are physiologically talking about cranial sacral fluid, it rises upon exhale. It seems like Dr. Joe's process is focused on pulling it up through the chakras. Thoughts?

    • @worldidioma7035
      @worldidioma7035 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @jayanti2371
      @jayanti2371 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Rick Helvey I too am an Isha meditator. :-)
      As to your question: no idea. Sorry.
      But -- i would suggest you take the next Isha class: Shoonya [Zero/Void] meditation, if you can.
      In that class you'll learn Isha's advanced breath practice, Shakti Chalana Kriya [Mobilizing the Power].
      It's a 30-min sequence, done in vajrasana (diamond-pose), and utilizes hand-mudras to direct prana to each part of the lungs and each major organ.
      It balances the hemispheres (nadi shuddhi) before stoking the inner fire (bellows breath), and uses 2 different patterns of internal locks (to mobilize the Power, presumably).
      I consider SCK + SMM to be a comprehensive breath practice.
      My understanding is that there are dangers in awakening the kundalini of an imbalanced person, so Isha's kriyas and all Isha practices take great care to energetically and emotionally balance their students.
      Of course, correcting/balancing/strengthening the human energy system takes time (on the order of mandalas, where 40-48 days is one mandalam).
      Therefore it is my very, very humble opinion that learning Shakti Chalana Kriya in person (with a live teacher who can correct you) and then practicing it for 40-120 days would be a good way to safeguard yourself before experimenting with methods learned online (without a teacher present).
      I'm happy to talk about this further if you wish.
      Best of luck to you on your journey.

      If you are shaking something is working. Just keep working on the intention and squeezing the lower part of your body. Keep practicing and playing around with it. Relax and have fun. It will happen when you least expect it. Then you’ll be like, “woah…” it can hit you and make a large release or make you totally relax and zen.

    Thank you! This really helped. I have been doing the breath everyday for a month and I finally got it right. My question is, is it normal to feel so much pressure in your throat and head that it feels like this energy will blow it up? I stop right at this feeling because it’s a bit scary. I can feel this energy will knock me down if I do even one more pump. Can you please put me at ease and help me surrender to it… Dr. Joe is right.. you want it all this time but when it comes… you say no thank you I’m good…because it’s a scary amount of energy.

    • @saltyseven
      @saltyseven  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      You will feel some pressure, but don’t want to feel too much pressure. You don’t need to turn purple. It’s more about squeezing it up and using your intention to move to energy. You may feel close to passing out or getting knocked out, but that means you are about to hit it. Sometimes it hits me gently, sometimes it hits hard. Sometimes I droop down and drop my head, other times I may let out a sound. If you go to an event, by the end of the week, you hear people making lots of sounds. It’s just the energy hitting you. It doesn’t hurt, it feels good! Best of luck!

    • @saltyseven
      @saltyseven  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You don’t have to have those shakes in your body in order to hit it. I’ve just hit it many times that I think the kundalini energy almost gets excited when I do the breath. It’s like a dog wagging it’s tail to go on a walk. Like I said on my other post to you, the kundalini will hit when your body is ready. A lot of people awaken that kundalini at their first event because the energy is so strong and I feel you push yourself more.
      I’ve never passed out before, but always do it in a safe spot just in case. I hit it real hard at my last event, my body jolted and I banged my head on the back of the chair. I was ok though, and was in such bliss I couldn’t do the breath any more.

    Thank you very much! His breath had been a mystery to me, now I understand it better. I do not have to go to the gym after this excersice. It is heavy!
    But, I’ve done daily his pineal gland meditation. Even my breath has not been perfect, my life has got a really positive direction! Meditations help, it is amazing. I cannot afford not doing them. 😊

      That’s wonderful to hear!! I did his advanced version of this breath the other day where you stand up and push it in your head. I am still sore 3 days later!!
